Chapter 17: Secrets and Lies

"Shit who was that" I turned to look round to see who it was. "I think it possibly could of been Madison" Nate replied with nothing but a blank expression on his face. I sighed an rolled my eyes and was about to walk away until I felt a firm grip on to my hand "were you going" Nate asked pulling me back towards him, "were do you think? To explain to Madison I'm not pregnant" I quickly said. "Why are you acting like it's a bad thing" he asked letting go of my hand.

"I didn't say it was its just I don't want people to know" I smiled "so your basically saying its a bad thing.." He sighed "no I'm not Nate just listen to what I'm saying." I snapped before walking away to find Madison. I searched everywhere, high and low, Amelia catched my eye she was talking to this boy that looked exactly like Connor, hang on could that be Connor? I shook my head and carried on searching. I went to search inside the house and found Madison talking to Tara.

"Look Madison, what you heard...I'm not pregnant, I thought I was but I'm not" I said rambling on "awe damn really?! I was looking forward to be an auntie" she pouted "sorry" I laughed "guys do you know Amelia is talking to a guy that looks like Connor?" I asked confused "oh yeah The vamps came to congratulate the boys" Tara smiled and as she said that Brad walked in from Madison's bathroom. It soon went pretty awkward "um hey Brad" I smiled "well hello Riley" he smirked I let out a laugh "what's going on?" Madison laughed "nothing, shall we go back and paaaaaartyyy!!!" I shouted "yeah let's go" Madison smiled standing up followed by Tara. I took Madison's and Tara's hand and we went downstairs I couldn't help but notice but Brad and Madison were holding hands.

"You two should totally date" I smiled nudging her "how do you know were dating" she asked confused. "I didn't, I said you should" I replied. "Ooooh well were dating" she grinned "aweee that's sweet"!!! I said smiling big giving her a big hug. " I'm going to find Nate... " I smiled pulling away from the hug I went to look for Nate but couldn't find him anywhere I asked literally everyone no one had a clue, I finally asked one last person Levi who was having a dance with Tara. "Guys do you know we're Nate is?" I asked rubbing my shoulder. "Yeah his by the pool Ri" he replied back smiling "okay! Thanks Levi" I smiled before walking to the pool.

When I got there I saw Nate dancing with another girl, I didn't think anything of it because it was just a dance and I know Nate wouldn't do anything, I was about to walk up to them both until I saw the girl go in for a kiss, I felt my heart break in two, I felt tears filling up in my eyes I braced myself, wiping my tears and going back to the others.

The next day

Me and Tia decided to go to go Starbucks you know spend quality time together, I had so many calls and texts of Nate but I didn't reply I was too hurt. "So how are you and Drew doing" I asked smiling "were amazing! Were of to the cinema tonight to watch pitch perfect 2, heeeeey maybe you should come with Nate" she smilling big, soon as she mentioned his name my heart dropped, "actually Tia... Did I tell you what happened last night?" I asked looking down "tell me what? Tia quizzed I looked up and clapped my hands and locked them "well I saw Nate kiss another girl" I said trying to hold back the tears "your joking" she gasped

"I wish I was" I sighed I looked to my left and saw Nate and Drew heading towards our way "hey babe how you doing" Drew smiled giving Tia a kiss "I'm going great now I seen you" she smiled kissing him back "um can we go for walk" Tia smiled giving Drew the look to say let's give Nate and Riley a minute to talk. "Sure" Drew smiled taking Tia's hand "I'll seen you soon Ri" Tia nodded before walking of with Drew.

"So how come you haven't answered my texts? Or calls" Nate asked looking at me. "I wasn't feeling well so I headed straight home and straight to bed" I lied not making eye contact with him. "Do you want another drink" he asked standing up "Nate can I ask you something" I asked looking in to his eyes. I wanted him to look in to my eyes and tell me exactly what happened. "Sure" he smiled "what happened near the pool last night" I questioned keeping my eyes on to his" nothing why? I wasn't even near the pool " he gulped looking away.

Obviously this kiss meant something to him because otherwise he would told me the truth. I felt my heart stop beating I thought he loved me I thought I actually meant something to him.I stood up "I saw Nate and you just lied to me" I said through my teeth "Riley what are you talking about"? He asked trying to lie once again " stop lying Nate I saw you!" I yelled walking away. I ran to place were me and mom use to go. I sat by the lake and cried, I just give up ...everything is going wrong I feel there is no hope anymore "I miss you mom i wish you were here " I whispered I stood up and headed home no one was in so I was guessing Tia is still with Drew. I walked in to my bathroom and looked in the mirror. "Your ugly" "your worthless" "no one wants you" "no one cares" "no one loves you" "your nothing" all these words kept going through my mind I sent through my draw and saw a blade I picked it up and stared at it while tears fell......

Uh oh Nate kissed another girl?! But who was she?
