Chapter 42: I Will Always Remember You

Nate's POV

So Riley gave me this memory stick, she didn't say what it was but soon as I got home I went straight up to my room and on to my laptop "What are you doing?" Madison asked as she walked in to my room "Um nothing just about to watch this what Riley gave me" I said showing her the memory stick "Awee sweet can I watch it with you?" she asked as she sat on the bed "Madison..I really want to watch it on my own please?" I sighed. "Okay " she smiled as she stood up and walked out closing the door.

I clicked on to the video that was on there it was named "Memories I will Never forget I will always remember you" the video finally opened, the song started to play by Miley Cyrus "I will always remember you" (Press the button at the top to listen to the song when reading this) First it was pictures of us when we were little, there was one picture when we was at this little sandpit, we wanted to have a competition on who can build the best sand castle and of course I won, but Riley said she did. These pictures actually brought back memories, there was another photo of when we was at hers making cakes it turned in to a massive cake fight! so we took a photo. The more I watched this video seeing the photos I got a bit upset, how can I let this girl go, my girl go.

There was also a little video of when we she was making a gingerbread house at Christmas time for me, I kept nagging for one so she made me one, it was the best, there was a photo were I was at hers one time I was having rough times at home so I stayed at hers I was laying on her bed cuddling up to her falling asleep and she took a sneaky photo! I didn't know about that. The photos were getting different as we were getting older, there was a photo that was my favorite when we at the beach, I was stood behind her wrapping my arms behind her the photo looked amazing! There was another which was at Christmas time, it was snowing outside, we was hugging as the snow fell on us, our friendship was close and no one could tear us apart we were unseparable.

At the end there was a video of her talking "Hey pal, you probably will be watching this right now, I just wanted to say thank you so much for everything you have given me for everything you have done, without you I wouldn't be who I am today, you always stuck by me through the bad times and the good times. You were there for me when I needed a shoulder to cry on, You were then when I was so moody, you put up with that. You put up a lot with me and you never left you stayed. I love you so much, words can't describe how much you mean to me, you stole my heart Nate and I don't want it back I want you to have it, no one can ever replace you, you were my first love, my first for everything. I will always remember the memories we had, we have had so many good ones, I hope this video makes you smile cause your smile is amazing, and that sounds soo cheesy. Your perfect Nate, when you find someone new let her treat you right because you deserve it, you deserve the best, you will always have my heart. I will always remember you, You will always will be with me were ever I go. I love you!

That's when the video ended, I broke down crying, I never cry unless I am really upset. I heard a knock on the door "Nate are you okay?" my mom asked through the other side of the door. "Um yeah I'm sure" I stuttered . I stood up and looked out the window, I remember when Riley use to sneak up here through the window, she was kind of a bad ass when she turned 13. I stared out the window "Nate.. mom and dad are doing a barbecue...are coming down?" Madison asked as she stood behind me. I turned around "Yeah sure I will be down in a minute" I smiled a little.

I went downstairs, I sat down and ate food, but I still couldn't get Riley out of my mind I let her go and I shouldn't of "What was on the memory stick?" Madison asked me as she sat next to me. "It was a video, of pictures of me and her and she did a mini video at the end" I smiled."Awee that is so sweet, can I watch it?" "Yeah sure it's in my room" I smiled.

It was getting dark so I stayed out a little "Nate, honey are you going to come in? its getting a bit cold" my mom asked, "Um yeah in a minute mom"I shouted. I looked up at the sky and saw the stars "I'm sorry for letting you go" I whispered.

I headed back in and went to my bedroom, I saw something on my bed which wasn't there before, "Riley told me to give it to you"Madison smiled "She hope it would remind you of her" It was a photo of us the one I saw in her bedroom, "But how did she give you it?" I asked confused "The day before she was leaving after she came out the hospital" she said. "You shouldn't of let her go Nate, she was the one for you, I was just on face time with her, she has arrived in London" she said.

"That's good at least she is safe and I know I shouldn't" I smiled as I looked at the photo "hang on you were face timing her and you didn't tell me? "Yeah but she said that as much as she loves to face time you she doesn't want to get upset or for you to get upset. She told me to tell you Nate... she... she is not coming back. "

noooooo!!! okay i cried writing this!! Riley is not coming back! :( OR WILL SHE ;)
