Chapter 24: Riley had a job?

I woke up this morning with a huge smile on my face I got this audition today for a job an acting role for a show called E Girls which is based on a dance show so since I'm a dancer I thought I would try it out I'm not a great actor but maybe this could get other things of my mind. "Today's the day Smiley Riley get to audition" Hunter grinned as he walked in to my room we have a strange friendship dont we?.

I managed to get out of bed my audition wasn't until 11 and it was only 8 so there was plenty of time to get ready I decide to wear something more formal for my acting, but I also packed my dance gear I recently brought since I didn't bring any, you always have to be prepared for auditions like this because you have no idea what they will spring out at you. What I was going to wear for the actual audition was black leggings with my reddish boots a white T-shirt, with my green Parker and a red beanie I wanted to make my character like myself but different. My dance gear was well it had to be pink! I love pink and I decided to curl my hair and leave it down. After I got changed and applied my make up it was near enough time to go.

"Its time to go Smiley Riley" Hunter smiled as I ran down the stairs "I'm all ready Hunter Bear" I smiled playfully nudging his shoulder , Hunter was coming with me to my audition you know for some support. "Riley relax you are going to smash this audition" he grinned wrapping his arm around my shoulder "I know I'm just feeling a tad nervous" I gulped. I was feeling nervous I haven't danced for months ever since my parents died. We was sat down in this room with other people of different ages, a youngish woman came she had blonde curly hair "Riley Brooke"? I stood up and smiled and pointed my finger up in the air " um that's me" I smiled

After the audition

"How do you think it went" Hunter asked me as he held the door as we made our way to McDonald's because who does not love McDonald's. "I don't know I think I could of done better" I sighed. The young girl from the cashier called me over to take my order "what can I get you" she smiled "I would like a big Mac with medium fries and a coke please" I smiled and Hunter ordered the same. "Here you go " she smiled handing me the food "thanks so much" I smiled "hang on ain't you dating the drummer out of The Tide" she grinned " I nodded and giggled "yeah I am" she got some paper and a pen "can I have your auto graph please" I took the paper and the pen and signed it I also took a photo.

It did feel strange but nice at the same time "what was all that about " Hunter questioned me as I sat down "just a fan" I boasted "ooooooh check you out" he laughed nudging me. "As I was saying why do you think you could of done better?" He asked while tucking in to his fries, "because my acting is shit" I laughed biting in to my burger. "I think you done well" he shrugged I looked at him weird "how do you know? You wasn't there" "I just do Ri...your an amazing dancer" he sighed.

"What's wrong" I asked looking in his eyes "its just your going back home soon, I was enjoying your company Ri" he pouted "awee pal that's sooo sweet" he chuckled pushing him. We headed back to the apartment and had a game of monopoly he won but I'm so sure I did because he cheats at these sort of games. "Hunter you just took a 500" I yelled leaning over to him trying to get the 500. "I am so not!!" He laughed backing away. "You so are! Let m be banker" I laughed taking the box away from him.

Next morning

This morning I was already dressed and awake It was my last day in London before I head back to LA I know your all thinking why audition for a job and then leave. I did it because Hunter found it and wouldn't stop pestering me to audition. I was hanging about waiting for a call, Hunter was doing some fitness in his living room you know were you copy from the TV but he was failing and looked like an idiot. "You look really silly doing that" I laughed sitting on the sofa "haha very funny don't you have packing to do?" He smirked turning round "actually it's all done" I smirked back standing up next to him to join in this fitness thing it actually looked like fun.

It was now 12PM and I still haven't had a call "see I told you I wouldn't get it" I sighed sitting down I will be honest I did feel gutted because it was my dream to work on TV. "Riley give it time you never know" he smiled sitting next to me. Just then my phone started to ring it was an unknown number. Hunter its a unknown number I screamed. "Well answer it then" he yelled "were are you?! I want you with me when I'm answering it" I yelled back "if you must know I was having piss " he creepily grinned walking back in to the living room.

I answered the call

R: hello?

U: hello is this Riley?

R: yes this is Riley

K: hello Riley this is Kate from the audition to be in E Girls

R: oh hey! How are you?

K: I'm great thankyou, I just wanted to let you know that you have the part

R: no way thankyou soon much!!

K: your welcome you start in a 2 weeks

R: thankyouu!

The call ended "so what did she say" hunter smiled "I got then party" I screamed jumping up and down as did Hunter. "But Riley.... That means you have to leave LA and move here... Shit I didn't know I had to make a decision.... Live here and live my dream or move back to LA and carry on as being just Riley...
