Chapter 3: Awkward

Waking up to the sun beaming through the window, I rubbed my eyes I still can't get what happened last night out of my mind, it was like some sort of photo album flickering through each photo. I wish it was a dream, I don't mean it in a bad way, it's just we been bestriends ever since we were tiny. My thoughts got interuptted by my alarm going of. "Great another day of school" I groaned lifting my self up from the pillow, leaning over to my phone switching the alarm of.

I stumbled out of bed and put on my dressing gown as I walked out, so did Nate our eyes just glued to each others, I quickly looked down "um I'm just going to um..you know get some breakfast.. Yeah um" I stuttered pointing towardd the stairs. I quickly ran down them not giving him a chance to reply back. Like I said I'm like part of there family so I know were everything is. I found dome cereal lucky charms, I poured some into a bowl and so on with the milk. I parked myself at the dining table, tucking in to my cereal, when a shirtless Nate just casually stroll in. What is this guy doing to me.

"Oh you finally found your breakfast" he smirked grabbing a bowl and pouring his cereal. I didn't reply, my fave expression dropped to the floor it was like I was in some sort of trance. "Riley are you okay? He laughed sitting opposite me clicking his fingers. I quickly blinked which brought me out of my daydream I pushed his hand away " yeah..I'm fine.um I'm good, I think I'm going to get ready " I stuttered standing,placing my empty bowl in the sink, obviously I washed it up.

I ran upstairs and got ready,you know just the same old morning routine, first brush my teeth, do my face which mean by cleansing, moustrising, and of course make up. I picked out of outfit which was high waisted shorts with a crop top. I made my way downstairs to see Nate not even ready "how come you ain't ready?" I asked tucking my lose hair behind my ear looking down. "Because its to early and it doesn't take me long to get ready" he smirked walking towards me.

I froze and stood still,I felt his arms snake around my waist, all what was going in my mind was are we going to kiss again. The moment got interuptted when my phone started ringing, Nates grip loosened and he backed away, tunning his hand through his bed head hair. "I best get this" I nodded taking my phone out of my pocket, walking out the house, it was my sister Tia.

T: Morning sis! How's it going?! Did you finally sorted things with Nate?

R: Morning, its going fine its a bit awkward..what about you?

T: what do you mean by awkward? You and Nate have been bestfriends..how can it possibly awkward? Me and Drew have kissed loads of times

R: because we just nearly had a moment again! And wait what?! Omg really! I knew there was something going on!

T: he must have feelings for you Ri! That's so cute! Definitely should go on a date! And obviously we are together, were are you now?

R: no Tia his my bestfriend,that's all! And walking to school

T: okie dokie see you in a bit! I'll meet you there

The phone call ended, I wish she wouldn't keep saying its cute the fact my bestfriend keeps making moves on me. "Aye Riley! Wait up!" I heard someone shout, I turned round to see Nate running towards me. "Why didn't you wait for me"? He asked out of breathe. " maybe because I wanted to walk alone" I snapped turning back to walk. "Oookay must be someone's time of the month" I heard him mumble? I turned round fast "what did you just say"? I asked furrowing my eyebrows.

" nothing, I said nothing " he smiled even though I knew he said something. We walked through the school gates together, there stood our usual group. "Look who it is, the love birds" Tara squealed clapping her hands together. I turned and have her the eye as to say shut up. "You to are actually cute together" Taylor smiled big. I turned to face Taylor, " why are people saying this? Its annoying" I said in an annoying tone. "Um Ri.why don't you go on a date with him"? Amelia chuckled. I threw my hands in the air " right that's it I'm going in" I sighed walking in the school entrance to my locker.

Soon as I put my stuff in and closed it "Did you tell them what happened?" Nate whispered, it kind of made me jump. "Tell them what"? I asked pretending to be confused while walking away. I felt an arm grab on to mine " Riley you know what happened,stop pretending " he spoke . I turned to face him "I don't remember anything, so how can I stop pretending" I smirked sarcastically walking in the classroom finding my seat.

"So it meant nothing to you"? He pouted, I sighed putting my head phones in my ears, The Vamps were on, it was such a good tune it was somebody to you. I was about to start writing when I felt Nate pull my headphone out. I turned and have him an evil " what are you doing? That was a good song " I whined pouting. "Tell me you remember last night please" he whispered getting closer to me. I sighed " look I don't remember anything I'm sorry " I lied, I know but I just don't want admit it.

"Your lying" he said shaking his. "What?" I asked confused "your lying, you do remember, you just don't want to, we kissed Ri, we kissed and it felt right, you don't want to remember because to you it was a mistake that's why your pretending. He stated giving me back my headphone.

I thought I'd update now as I'm going out tonight... Might update another Chapter. If I'm not to tired! X
