Chapter 18 : Decisions

"WARNING this is a trigger Warning"

Staring at the blade I felt complete emptiness I felt there was no hope anymore, my mom and dad died, my relationship with Nate is a disaster, I feel what is the point? I felt nothing I felt no one cared I felt like I was worthless. I thought Nate was not only my boyfriend but my bestfriend and for him to go and do that hurt, it felt someone stabbed me in the heart and ripped it out of my chest and threw it on the ground. I gave him a chance to tell me the truth but he lied two times I guess I never meant that much to him.

I started to press the blade hard on to my skin, as I cut one line across my wrist I did another and then another an another until my whole arm was covered in cuts and blood pouring everywere, I screamed, cried, shouted to get more anger out me. I started to feel light headed the four walls started to spin getting faster each time, my body fell onto the floor. I looked up to see my bathroom door handle turn though my vision was getting more blury "Omg Riley what have you done" Tia cried, I only could manage to hear her but my eyes slowly closed "I giv.." Before I could manage to finish my sentence my body gave up.

Tia's POV

I was coming home from he cinema with Drew I was so excited to tell Riley about it! I walked in the house with Drew. "Riley!" I shouted "Riley were are you" I shouted again but there was no answer "I'm going to check to see if she's in bed" I smiled running up the stairs, but when I reached Riley's room she wasn't there her bed hasn't been slept in, I made my through to her bathroom turning the door handle but when I opened it I couldn't believe my eyes "Omg Riley what have you done" I cried running to her side holding her I saw Drew stood in the door way shocked to what he was seeing "I'll go call the ambulance" he stuttered. While Drew was ringing for an ambulance Riley managed to say something "I giv.." Before she could finish her eyes slowly closed.

"Nooo Riley I can't lose you too! Stay with me Ri please"! I cried "They are in there way" Drew said sitting next to me holding me. "This is Nate's fault, why couldn't he be good to her Drew? If anything happens I will never forgive him" I said grinding my teeth. "Maybe we should ring him and let him know?" Drew slowly asked "No Drew I don't want him near her" I snapped "what did he exactly do?" Drew asked yet another question " he kissed another girl" I snapped back again.

The paramedics finally came as they carried Riley out on the bed I followed as they placed her in the ambulance I saw Tara and Taylor head my way with Nate Austin and Levi. Soon as they saw the ambulance they towards me "what happened"?! Tara shouted " its Riley.. She....she harmed her self " I said starting to cry "no way" Taylor said putting her hand over her mouth before coming over to hug me. "I need to see her Nate said" making his way to the ambulance. "No I don't think so, your the reason shes in there" I yelled pushing him away. "Tia I need to see her" he said starting to cry "no just go back to that girl " I cried pushing him more. I felt Drew hold me back "maybe you should go Nate..." Tara said looking away.

"I'm not going, that's my girlfriend in there" he shouted "dude I think you should go your not making this any easier" Levi said holding her arm round Tara. "Fine" he said before walking away. "I can't believe she would do that" Tara cried snuggling in to Levi. "Sssh she will be OK" Levi said rubbing her back "I hope so" she whispered looking up placing a kiss on his lips. "We are only allowed one person to come with Riley " the male paramedic said "I'll go I'm her sister, can you guys meet me there?" I said looking at each one bride making my way inside the ambulance. "Of course we will" Austin said sending me a reassuring smile.

We arrived at the hospital, Riley looked so helpless her body looked like it given up hope, we never talked about our parents death we actually came apart. I always spent my time with Drew at his house. I sat beside her bed she was covered in wires. "She will be fine" Drew smiled standing behind me resting his hand on my shoulder I looked up " I hope so I can't lose her to " I said looking back at Riley "I got you a hot chocolate" he smiled handing it to me before sitting on the chair next to me. There was a few minutes of silence "what if this is my fault? What if I'm the reason shes here? We became apart ever since our parents died" I said tearing up again. "Tia it ain't your fault trust me" Drew said giving me a tight hug.

"How is she" Tara said popping her head round the door which kinda made me laugh "shes going to be okay" I smiled taking hold of Drew's hand, why are you popping your head round the door " I giggled "because were not all allowed in" she grinned "buuuut Nate's here" she mumbled quickly "what"? I asked furrowing my eyebrows. She sighed " Nate's here and he wants to see Riley alone" she said biting her lip looking down. I felt anger build inside me "let him in and talk to her maybe she will wake up? Drew said placing a kiss on my head " fine" I sighed standing up walking out with Drew following behind "don't hurt her again" I said grinding my teeth pushing past Nate.

Nate's POV

Tia finally let me in to see Riley, she was covered in wires, her body looked like it given up hope I sat down beside her taking her hand and helding it tight and started talking to her

Riley I know you can't hear me but I wish you could, I'm so sorry putting you through this but please believe me I didn't kiss Ami she kissed me. Your the girl I want to be with spend the rest of my life with. I love you Riley only you. Please wake up I'm sorry. Do you remember our first kiss? Back at mine? We was messing about and I fell on top of you? That kiss was amazing. Remember that time when we scared Madison? That was hilarious, her face was like a picture. I miss the old times. I really do. You weren't just my girlfriend Riley you was my best friend and I can't live without you. When I got told you might have been pregnant it felt amazing because we made it, us. Me and you .no one else. Please wake up Ri I love you.

I said placing a kiss on her forehead.
