Ever since Charlotte transferred into the elite private school of Amaryllis hills, countless people have caught her eye. On the first day, she recalled an old homeless man sitting underneath the cold shade provided by the trees while kids wearing that notorious black and white uniform of Amaryllis private academy (fictional) shot nerf bullets childishly at him. It was the perfect example of the elitist community we have at the core of Amaryllis hills.
According to the book of flowers that Charlotte had once read in her childhood, Amaryllis symbolises pride, the very thing that binds yet discriminates the people. The pride of having wealth, luxury, power and status here secludes Amaryllis hills from the gutters of normal society. With such seclusion from the shores of normality and its prejudice against crime, Charlotte thought, "What does Amaryllis hills have to offer for me?"

Well to answer that question..all Charlotte's been offered were pubescent, volcanic acne boys and average grades. Not much of the classism had affected yet as she was relatively wealthy. To start off, she had her dorm mates. Unlike her old rotting public school that her parents had sent her to , this school had dorms. And not just any dorms, they had dorm towers. Each tower consisted of 5 rooms that could take a maximum of 2 people each. Well, unfortunately for Charlotte, she had a roommate, her first ever roommate. She's seen coming of age movies where the main character goes into college, meets her roommate, they somehow become best friends of the century, eventually becoming their maid of honour at their wedding in the near future. But that's all bullshit, she thought.
Charlotte opened the door to her room on the 2nd floor and there she was..the bitch of a decade.
"What the actual f-" Charlotte mumbled under her breath. The left side of her dorm was atrocious. K-pop images plastered onto the walls. One of them had a grotesque individual posing, while the other had marine blue hair. "He's going to turn bald in the next 10 years." Charlotte thought to herself. The bitch she described earlier was sitting on her bed with that baby pink bed frame, airpods plugged in, reading a magazine. She noticed how she looked familiar. Her hair tied into a messy ponytail, like the ones on her y2k board on pinterest, and her figure a little too slim for her height. "Who are you?" She asked, catching Charlotte's attention.
"Uhm I'm new? I was told that this was my dorm. Who are you anyw-?" Charlotte replied.
"Seo-jun." She interrupted, anxiously putting her mask back on, quickly looking the other way.
That puzzled Charlotte. Why did she have to wear a mask in her own dorm? Did Charlotte smell that bad? She didn't think she looked that ugly either. Regardless, Charlotte was practically exhausted. She placed her luggage next to her plain IKEA bed, laying back with her eyes shut.
End of pt 1.
