"Fuck." He whispered under his breath, cowering his head downwards to hide behind the small Bonsai tree that blocked the view of the table. "What do we do?" His eyes widened looking at Charlotte with panic stricken eyes. He watched confused as she picked up her chopstick unbothered, devouring her Truffle Tonkotsu ramen.
"Wha-what are you doing?" He leaned forward, trying to come up with a plan before Stephanie walked over. Charlotte however was slurping her noodles, seemingly satisfied with her meal.
"Chris, I've been craving this ramen for days and I'm not letting some stupid bitch stop me from eating this." She pointed her chopstick at her bowl of ramen, talking with her mouth still filled with food.
"Aren't you worried about the rumours?" He questioned, digging into his bowl of ramen. He found it funny how Charlotte prioritised her food before her reputation, especially after the incident at the party.
"Well." She chewed on her noodles, her eyes looking upward as she came up with an answer. "If she comes over just say that we're discussing debate stuff over a meal for our club." She shrugged her shoulders. "This is really good by the way."

"Then here she comes." Chris gulped, locking eyes with Stephanie who seemed annoyed by Charlotte's presence. She smiled back at him, nearly tripping over the stairs, unable to break eye contact with him.
