The past few days seemed endless and repetitive to Seo-jun, it was like the world was spinning uncontrollably at her fingertips. On Mondays and Saturdays she'd have to go for the Swan lake dance practice while on Tuesdays and Sundays she'd have to make a trip down to downtown Los Angeles to meet her dance mentor for her K-pop group. Seo-jun liked to call her mentor So-min eunnie, a petite korean woman in her 20s with her hair dyed baby pink, a rare gem that had a burning passion for dance despite the low salary. Seo-jun had actually just finished a dance session with her and was on the way back to the dorms. She'd rest her head on the glass windows of the school's shuttle bus looking out at the darkening evening sky as the street lamps switched on one by one. She was exhausted. She loved the idol life and she loved meeting her fans but she couldn't lie that at times like these, it was especially draining. All she wanted to crash on her couch and devour her mother's special tteokbokki. She recalled her mother's warm smile as she brought tray of traditional korean snacks to her room while her friends were over in the year of 2019, her warm embrace pushed her to keep moving forward, those were the days. Come to think of it, she should call her mother tonight.

Slowly, the shuttle bus came to a complete stop. Seo-jun jolted awake, putting on her airpods as she walked down the bus, bowing in a display of gratitude to the driver who'd safely brought her back to the dormitories. She'd play the song Palette by IU while walking back to her dorm, taking in the cold breeze that gently caressed her warm cheeks. As an idol, Seo-jun was constantly worried about her reputation, going to great lengths to ensure that people thought of her as a good person. Not like she wasn't a decent person already, she just had to make sure that she was perfect, her company always emphasised on that anyway. Hanging out with the wrong people in high school could absolutely alter her image and turn her fans who she loved dearly, away from her. Amaryllis academy was a place where the wealthy American kids go to and her mother advised her to make good connections there which would benefit her in the future instead of making potentially powerful enemies. But now, especially after what had happened at the party, Seo-jun felt a little on edge on school campus. She knew that Emily and Stephanie were rich kids that would inherit fortunes and harness power in the future because of their parents. She thought of them as fucking nepotism babies but she tried her best to get along with them, she didn't want to ruin her image anyway. Charlotte was a problem though, she didn't seem to give a shit about reputation. Seo-jun had always thought that Charlotte was a bit temperamental and unafraid of others opinions about her and that was something she didn't quite understand. How could someone be so...arrogant and nonchalant about it?
