Chapter 47

°Harriet

Fynn has remained true to his words, which is why Noah, Dylan and Luke will see his house for the first time ever in a few minutes.

Ella and Theo are busy playing cards at the dining table. Or more like are attempting to play because Theo desperately tries to teach her how Uno works. From time to time, she confuses what to do with the different colors and numbers.

I brought my PlayStation with me so we have the chance to play Just dance, as well as some board games.

On the dining table are a few snacks and a selection of drinks.

Ella's hands are already covered in chocolate and I'm glad that the cards are an Uno kids' version, meaning everything is laminated.

I grab a wet kitchen towel and make my way to the chocolate monster.

"Enough sweets for now. Let me wash your hands and face real quick."

Ella, of course, puts her cards down with the card values up. But Theo, like the gentleman he is, tries no to look at them.

I fold the cloth and quickly wipe her face clean.

"You need to win for me, little worm." I say and give her a kiss on the head.

"I win." She says and I look at Theo who just shakes his had with a little smile.

I return to the kitchen, throw away the used paper towel and make my way to Fynn.

He is currently cutting some fruit, which gives me the opportunity to sneak my arms around him from behind and lean my cheek against his back.

"Everything alright, dove?" He asks and brushed his fingers over my hand.

"Yes. I'm currently full of hug energy and need to spend it all on you." I say and sigh.

Fynn finishes his cutting, wipes his hands on a towel and turns around.

He picks me up and I wrap my arms and legs around him.

"You smell delicious. Like chocolate covered strawberries." He says and licks my cheek playfully.

I wipe his saliva away and give him a peak on the lips.

"Nah,nah, longer." He demands and crashes his lips on mine.

He kisses me passionately, but very gently. The doorbell rings and interrupts our togetherness.

He puts his forehead against mine and sighs but then breaks into a laugh.

We leave the kitchen and make our way to the entrance. I open the door and all three if them look at Fynn wide with eyes and open mouths.

"Wtf, man. This house is huge." Dylan says and walks into the hallway.

"No wonder you didn't want a whole football team here. This thing would be destroyed in a few seconds." Is Luke's remark and Fynn lets out a little chuckle.

He shows them where to hang their jackets.

"Wow, your boyfriend is richy rich. No wonder you don't hate him anymore." Noah comments and I slap him on the shoulder.

"Shut up."

The two little ones played upstairs for a while and we were downstairs at the dining table.

Now we are all gathered in the living room with Just Dance on the TV.

Ella chose 'let it go' and convinced Noah to dance with her. We had to tie my cell phone to her hand with a scarf because it was too huge for her to hold.
