Looking at War, who was a shameless volunteer himself to take care of the booth together with me during the carnival made me curious whether he was not tired of keeping following me around. I treated him coldy, not even paying attention to his presence but here he is now, busy serving the customer and acting like this was his booth.
Now, we have already gone through almost half of this semester but this kid never showed the sign of giving up. He continued to act in the same way, always smiling brightly and being upbeat. He constantly screamed my name aloud whenever he caught sight of me, acting as though no one else was nearby.
"Do P'Yin proud of me?" He asked cheerfully after finishing serving the customer.
"Proud?" I raised my eyebrows, making him nodded fastly to answer my question.
"I helped P'Yin today. I already sell all of these." He pointed to the empty table while smiling happily and looking at me with sparkle, waiting for an answer.
I simply hummed and took the tray to clean up.
"Yeayyy!!! P'Yin proud of me!!!" He exclaimed joyfully as though he had won the jackpot, which caused me to smile just a tiny bit before hastily wiping it away and carrying on with my work.
"Awww, P'Yin smileyyy." He giggled while poking my cheek.
"I'm nottt," I quickly denied it but he continued to smile and tease me.
"P'Yin is smiling but P'Yin shy to admit it," he muttered with himself while helping me to clean up the table, causing me to clear my throat and acted like it was nothing.
"P'Yinnn," someone called me, making me turn around and saw Rin stand beside the booth, looking at me shyly.
I smiled. "Rinnn, what are you doing here?"
"Nothinggg." She tucked a strand of her hair behind her ear. "I just miss you, phiii."
Errr, what a disgusting thing. I didn't even remember her at all after the boring day I spent with her last night.
"Awww, you already miss me?" I said, acting interested towards her. "But we just met last night, Rinnn," I uttered while playfully poking her top nose, making her grin with blush cheeks.
"P'Yin...went out last night?" War suddenly asked which led me to look at him.
I simply nodded and hummed.
"But...P'Yin told me that P'Yin tired. That's why P'Yin can't...spend time with me," he said, almost inaudibly, making me raise my eyebrows as I noticed his lips almost turn down.
However, upon realizing that my gaze was fixed upon him, he swiftly changed his expression, transforming it into a beaming smile that stretched from one ear to the other.
"I will bring this tray to clean it up, P'Yin. I will meet P'Yin later! Bye bye!" He said cheerfully and walked away while carrying a few trays.
Yeah, whatever.

A FEW DAYS LATER
Knock Knock Knock
With my half open eyes, I took my phone on the table beside the bed. 1 am. Oh God...who kept knocking my room's door at this freaking hour.
Knock Knock Knock
"Waittt," I said loudly while walking lazily towards the door. When I peeked through the hole, it was War which made me furrow and I instantly opened the door.
