Today, I invited Mook to accompany me to the mall. The reason? Yeah, to find the perfect ring for War as I wanted to ask him a question that lingered in my heart. Once we reached the jewelry section, a myriad of sparkling rings greeted us.

"Hey, what's the surprise all about?" Mook asked teasingly.

I grinned. "You know, I...still haven't officially asked War to be my boyfriend."

Mook's eyes widened. "Wait, I thought you and War were already together. Aren't you in a relationship?"

I smiled shyly. "Well, I feel like we are but I have never officially asked him. I want to make it official and that's why I'm getting this ring."

Understanding dawned on Mook's face and she grinned mischievously, "Awww, so, you are going to propose to him? That's adorable!"

I chuckled. "Yeah, I guess you could call it a proposal. I just want him to know how much War means to me," I replied shyly.

I nervously scratched my head. "I hope he really likes the ring I bought for him. And thanks, Mook, for accompanying me today."

Mook smiled. "No problem, Yin. I'm glad I could be here for you. Now, I also have plans to meet my girlfriend tonight," she said excitedly, which made me smile as well.

I chuckled and ruffled his hair. The car hummed to life as we set off. My heart pulsating with the weight of the impending proposal.
