Instead of heading straight home, I told P'Yin to make a stop at the nearby playground. We sat on a swing set, our hands entwined as we swayed gently back and forth. On my other hand, I held onto an ice cream cone, taking small bites and savoring the sweet treat.

P'Yin stared at me. "Feeling better now, baby?" He asked.

I nodded, smiling happily as I looked at him. "Much better!" I replied, the lingering effects of the alcohol fading away in the comforting presence of my love.

P'Yin chuckled softly. "You are so adorable when you are drunk, you know that?" He said.

I felt my cheeks flush with embarrassment. "Stop it, P'Yin," I protested weakly, unable to hide the warmth spreading through me at his compliment.

But P'Yin just grinned, leaning in closer to press a tender kiss to my cheek. "It's true, my precious War," he insisted. "Even when you are a bit tipsy, you are still the most wonderful person I know."

I smiled shyly. My grip on P'Yin's hand tightened. "I can't tell P'Yin how happy I am. Knowing that P'Yin's friends support us and then reading P'Yin's post about us..." I stopped, a soft smile lighting up my face. "It meant the world to me."

"Seeing P'Yin stand up for me like that, it meant everything. And the positive comments...it was like a weight lifted off my shoulders. I'm just so grateful that people see us for who we are," I said. "And I feel so relieved that people don't talk bad about P'Yin."

P'Yin leaned in and kissed my forehead tenderly. "You deserve all the love and support in the world, baby," he said. "And I will always be by your side, ready to defend you, no matter what."

P'Yin smiled warmly, his eyes reflecting his love for me. "I love you so much, War Wanarat," he said and kissed the back of my hand. "I will always be here for you, no matter what happens."

I smiled. "I love P'Yin too. I love P'Yin so much," I replied.

We sat there in a comfortable silence, the weight of the world lifted off our shoulders. With P'Yin by my side, I knew everything was going to be fine.

A WEEK LATER

The car hummed softly as P'Yin drove us in the familiar streets. I stole a glance at P'Yin, noting the furrow and the thoughtful expression on his face. It was obvious that we were both lost in our own thoughts about the impending visit to my parents' house.

I couldn't shake the feeling that my parents already knew about our relationship. Perhaps they had heard it from P'Yin's parents, given that we lived in the same neighborhood.

As we neared the familiar streets leading to my home, I reached out and placed my hand on P'Yin. "Don't worry, P'Yin. I'm sure my parents will accept us."

P'Yin glanced at me, a mixture of hope and uncertainty flickering in his eyes. "You really think so, baby?"

I smiled, squeezing his hand. "Of course, P'Yin," I affirmed. "They love me and they will see how happy P'Yin make me."

He smiled and gave my hand a quick kiss. "Yeah, everything will be alright," he said.

As we stepped onto the porch, the door swung open, revealing my parents already waiting for us. Mom opened the door with a bright smile. My mom's smile immediately put me at ease but I could sense P'Yin's tension as he stood beside me.
