After our grocery trip, P'Yin and I returned home, our arms laden with bags of fresh produce and essentials. As I arranged the groceries on the kitchen table, P'Yin hugged me from behind, his lips peppering my face with gentle kisses.
"P'Yinnn, we need to unpack these groceries." I chuckled.
He pouted while continuing to shower me with affectionate kisses. Despite my attempts to resist, laughter bubbled between us.
"Alright, alright," I teased, finally extricating myself from his grasp. "I will let P'Yin off the hook if P'Yin go to shower now."
P'Yin flashed a mischievous grin. "Promise me?" He said.
I chuckled. "I promiseee," I responded.
"I can do more than a kiss?"
My cheeks reddened and I slowly nodded.
P'Yin smiled from ear to ear and gave a deep kiss on my cheek. "I love you," he said and obliged, making his way upstairs to freshen up.
I shook my head, amused by his endearing behavior and turned my attention to preparing dinner with a smile lingering on my lips.
Several minutes passed and I was chopping the vegetables when an unexpected ring of the doorbell disrupted the moment. I furrowed, drying my hands before making my way to the front door.
As I swung it open, I was met with the unexpected sight of P'Fourth, his face contorted with anger. Before I could utter a greeting, he abruptly pushed me, making me startled. Stumbling backward, I steadied myself, confusion etching across my features.
"You are a shameless person!" P'Fourth shouted.
A moment of stunned silence lingered between us as I struggled to comprehend the sudden hostility. "P'Fourth, what's going on?" I questioned, bewildered.
He stared at me angrily. "Don't play dumb. I saw you and Yin at the grocery store, holding hands like it's nothing!"
I furrowed. "You follow us?" I asked in disbelief while adjusting my glasses.
He gripped my collar, the force almost lifting me off the ground. "It's none of your business. You are shameless," he seethed. "Don't you dare act like you are Yin's lover." Abruptly, he yanked my hair, sending a sharp pain through my scalp.
"Arghhh, it hurts!" I couldn't hold back the exclamation, reacting instinctively by pulling his hair in return.
"Ahhh, you are a bitch! Let me go!" P'Fourth screamed but the struggle intensifying as our grips remained unrelenting.
"You let me go first!" I shouted back.
"Fucking bitch! You are fucking ugly bastard!" He yelled.
"What the hell are you doing!" The commotion drew P'Yin's attention. He walked downstairs towards us.
In an instant, P'Yin gripped P'Fourth's wrist with unwavering strength, compelling him to release my hair. However, my own grip on P'Fourth's hair persisted.
"He started it! Let go of my hair, asshole!" P'Fourth yelled.
Only then, I let go of his hair. P'Yin also pushed P'Fourth's wrist away and turned his focus to me. He cupped my face with a worried expression and gently stroked my hair. "Are you okay?" He inquired.
I slowly shook my head. "He—he started first," I explained, attempting to justify the altercation but P'Fourth shot me an angry glance.
"You are the one being shameless and starting first!" P'Fourth shouted.
