Love. It's just a simple word but brings a complex meaning behind it. A mix of emotions, behaviors and beliefs associated with strong feelings of affection, protectiveness, warmth and respect for another person.
A willingness to prioritize another's well-being or happiness above your own. That's what we need to do when we love someone and I don't think it's essential for me to do that, therefore I have decided not to fall in love with anyone. Also, no one could make me feel extreme feelings of attachment, affection and need.
"P'Yinnn!!! P'Yinnn!!!"
This kid again, how could he scream my name so loudly like that, making all the people look in my direction.
"What?" I asked shortly while continuing to walk and he followed me like a puppy while carrying his bag in front.
He giggled and showed me white envelope. "I got my salary todayyyy. Let's go on a date," he said cheerfully, leading me to stop my step and look at him.
"How long are you gonna work there? It has been 3 months," I inquired with curiosity because in all honesty, I did not comprehend why he needed to work a part-time job. He actually hails from a wealthy family because they had a successful business. He could easily ask his parents for anything and they would always give him but he was still working at the cafe.
He smiled awkwardly and scratched his head.
"Is there anything you are not telling me?"
"No, yes, I mean, everything is okay. I...just want to find more money," he replied with his naive smile, causing me to sigh.
"Are you sure?"
He nodded fastly while beaming cheerfully.
I looked at him for a while before opening my mouth again. "You seem like you don't take care of yourself. Your eyes look like pandas." As I said that, he immediately touched his eyebags and looked at me with pout.
"So, P'Yin don't think I'm cute anymore?" He pursed his lips with a sorrowful expression.
"I never said you're cute."
"P'Yinnn!!!"
I continued to walk while cracking a tiny smile, leaving him who kept calling my name.

As my professor talked about love in the psychology's class, the only name that popped up in my mind was that kid, War Wanarat. How could he still love me after I rejected him multiple times?
Five years. How was it possible for him to wait all those years for me to reciprocate his love? But in the end, he got nothing and I could never love him.
The first time he confessed his feelings towards me when he was in high school and now, we already went to the university but still, he constantly said that I'm his love and nothing could change his love towards me. I did not know what he saw on me. When I asked him that question, he just gave me a simple answer.
'Because when I call P'Yin's name, it makes me happy,' that's what he said.
Never a day went by that I did not hear him call my name in a cheerful tone and with a smile on his face. Even if he did not end up seeing me that day, he would still call my name in a voicemail simply for the sake of calling me by my name.
Is it weird, right? But to describe him as a stalker does not seem right to me. We already know each other since high school and we also live in the same neighborhood. When he asked if it bothered me that he followed me around, I simply said that he could do anything he pleased while showing emotionless expression. It is quite easy to say that I gave him permission.
