I was alone at home, surrounded by silence that made my emotions feel even heavier. P'Yin had tried to reassure me that everything would be okay but I couldn't stop thinking about how his parents disapproved of our relationship.

The memory of last night kept playing in my head. The tension in the room, the disapproving looks and the hurtful words still echoed in my ears. P'Yin had stayed by my side, standing up for our relationship and love. He told me he loves me...But the worst part was when his parents said he was no longer their son.

I sank into the sofa, holding the teddy bear P'Yin had given me. I couldn’t shake off the heavy feeling. I stared blankly at the walls, lost in my thoughts. "What if P'Yin's parents really cut ties with P'Yin?" I wondered.

As I waited for P'Yin to return from work, the minutes dragged on like an eternity. I caressed the teddy bear and buried my face on it. The scent of P'Yin's cologne lingered on the plush fur. "I love P'Yin so much," I uttered.

I closed my eyes, letting the heaviness of the day sink in. I wished that sleep would give me a brief break from the tough reality. But before long, a sudden creak from the front door jolted me out of my uneasy sleep.

Still half-asleep, I noticed P'Yin sat down beside me on the sofa. He gently stroked my hair. "P'Yin already come back," I mumbled with drowsiness as I instinctively pulled him into a hug.

He smiled, reciprocating the hug. "I miss my baby," he murmured.

I nestled my face against the crook of his neck, taking in the familiar and his comforting scent. "I miss P'Yin too."

After a while, P'Yin spoke again, "I brought something for you." He reached into his bag, showing a small, beautifully wrapped box.

He handed me the box with his handsome smile. "Aww, P'Yinnn. Again? P'Yin just gave me the ring yesterday," I said while pouting. "I still didn't give anything to P'Yin," I mumbled.

He chuckled and caressed my hair. "Open and see it, baby."

I unwrapped the package and found a beautiful piece of jewelry inside. It was a silver bracelet with a pendant on it. I gasped and looked up at P'Yin in surprise.

"It's beautiful," I uttered, running my fingers over the intricate design.

P'Yin smiled from ear to ear, clearly pleased with my reaction. "I thought you might like it. It reminded me of you. Strong, resilient and endlessly beautiful."

I smiled softly but soon, a rush of emotion hit me. Tears began to fill my eyes. "Aww, you want to cry again?" P'Yin teased.

"P'Yin loves me so much," I managed to say through my tears, sounding like a child in awe. He hugged me and I continued to cry, overwhelmed by the depth of his affection.

"I really love you, baby. Don't cry," P'Yin said but his words only intensified my tears.

After a moment, I pulled back slightly, sniffling and trying to compose myself. "I can't help it. This is just too much," I admitted, wiping away tears with the back of P'Yin's hand.

P'Yin chuckled softly, brushing a stray tear from my cheek. "I wanted it to be special. You mean the world to me and I wanted you to have something as beautiful as you are."

I looked at him with gratitude and love. "It is special, P'Yin. More than P'Yin can imagine."

He leaned in, pressing a gentle kiss on my forehead. "I'm glad you like it. I love you so much."

I hugged him tightly. "I love P'Yin more," I responded.
