I sat in the cafeteria, enjoying my meal with friends when Reeya suddenly joined our group. I did not voice any objections because it seemed like my friends enjoyed her company, perhaps because of her good looks. My eyes scanned the area, trying to catch a glimpse of War but he was nowhere to be seen.

"Are you not close with War anymore, nong?" Mook asked Reeya, breaking the silence. I chose to remain silent, focusing on my food.

Reeya chuckled awkwardly. "I...don't know, phi. I mean, I was never really close to him before," she replied.

"Awww, really? But we always see you with that nerd," Jimmy interjected with a teasing tone.

"Errr...he's the one who always follows me, phi. I didn't really like him, actually," Reeya admitted, causing me to look at her, suddenly curious about her words.

Fourth could not help but laugh. "Why? Does he keep talking about Yin to you?"

Reeya smiled awkwardly, briefly glancing at me before slowly nodding. "He always acts as if P'Yin is his boyfriend. But, phi—" She directed her eyes towards me. "You don't like him, right?" Reeya questioned, her tone filled with anticipation.

"I'm not," I said without hesitation, causing Reeya's lips to slowly turn into a smile.

"That nerd is the one who always obsesses about Yin, nong. He really has no shame. Such a disgusting gay," Krist grumbled. "Maybe he actually believes that Yin will someday return his feelings," he added, a hint of sarcasm in his tone.

I ignored Krist's words, feigning disinterest in the topic at hand. They carried on chatting, oblivious to my inner turmoil. But then, Jimmy's sudden observation caught our attention as he pointed to someone.

"Is that the nerd with Earth? They seem pretty close nowadays," Jimmy grumbled.

I turned my gaze in the direction Jimmy indicated, striking a nerve within me as I confirmed his observation. There they were, Earth and War, walking together, seemingly headed towards the library.

A surge of mixed emotions washed over me as I watched War's radiant smile directed at Earth. It was a smile I had seen before, a smile that he always gave me. It made me instinctively tighten my grip on my spoon, my mind racing with a jumble of thoughts and feelings.

Unexplainable feelings gnawed at me, threatening to consume my thoughts. Questions swirled in my mind, why were they suddenly so close? Why does War smile like that to another person? Why does he still become close with Earth when I already told him not to?

Damn it.

I continued to sit there, listening to my friends' conversation as they kept talking about the rumor that Earth and War were actually already in a relationship. Each time, my heart burned in fire, making me clench my jaw.

"I need to go now," I said and instantly got up from the seat.

"Aww, where are you going, phi?" Reeya asked and my friends also looked at me curiously.

Without answering, I continued to walk away. Fuck it. What's the damn wrong with me? Why I feel so fucking angry?

I secretly watched War and Earth from a distance, carefully peering through the gaps in the library shelves. They had been in the library for nearly 20 minutes now and all I witnessed was the lingering eyes of Earth fixated on War. Why was he behaving like a creepy guy?
