My heart sank as I met War's tearful eyes. The color visibly drained from my face. It was a moment frozen in time. It felt as though he had heard the lie that had just escaped my lips. Standing beside him, Earth wore a look of anger but my focus remained squarely on War, his sorrowful eyes etched in my pain heart.
"War..." I uttered his name, my voice trembling.
I took a step closer to him. Yet, to my dismay, War mirrored my movement with a step backward, putting more distance between us. His tears continued to fall unabated.
My thoughts raced, desperately trying to grasp the severity of what had just happened. Could it be that War had heard the entirety of the lie I had uttered? Could it be possible that he had heard more than I intended? The very idea filled me with a sense of dread, like a storm cloud on the horizon.
War's quivering voice finally broke the silence. "I..." He struggled to speak. "I...I hate P'Yin," War finally managed to choke out, his voice laden with anguish.
My eyes widened and in that moment, it felt as though the world around me had been plunged into darkness.
"What...what are you saying?" I stammered, my voice barely more than a whisper as I slowly approached him once more. But with each step I took, War retreated as though my presence was an unwelcome intrusion into his turmoil.
"P'Yin is no different from P'Yin's friends. I...I hate P'Yin," he continued and everything crumbled around me. My heart ached, my mind raced and I struggled to process the gravity of what War was saying.
How...how could he feel this way about me? No...he loves me. He will never hate me.
Before I could fully comprehend the situation, before I could even reach out to him, War turned and ran away, leaving the place.
Desperation coursed through me as I tried to chase after him but Earth grabbed my shoulder, preventing me from pursuing War. Before I could react, Earth gave a powerful punch that sent a searing jolt of pain through me. I crumpled to the floor. Pain radiated from my cheek.
"What the hell, Earth?!" Fourth shouted, attempting to help me in regaining my footing.
I struggled to my feet, my vision blurred and my thoughts racing.
Earth's chest heaving. His eyes bore into mine with fury and frustration. "You have hurt him enough," he spat, his sentences were poisoned with malice.
"If you couldn't reciprocate his feelings, you had no right to toy with him like this! You are nothing but an asshole!" Earth shouted.
Staring at the ground, I remained silent, my hand reaching up to wipe away the blood that oozed from the corner of my battered mouth.
"Perhaps you should take better care of your whore, instead of allowing him to plague Yin with his disgusting gay behavior,'' Jimmy interrupted angrily.
Earth merely smirked and he pointed an accusatory finger directly at me. "You have lost him, you bastard," he said, his words were like a knife across the skies.
With that, Earth turned his back and walked away.
Fourth then cupped my cheek. "Are you alright?" He asked but I instantly pushed his hand without responding.

Knock...knock...knock...
The minutes ticked away in silence as I stood outside War's room. The relentless pounded of my heart matching the rhythm of my knuckles against the door.
