I stood off to the side of the bank of the lake, leaning against a tree watching the beautiful lights.
It was New Years Eve. Most people were honestly just happy they had survived another year. Being a demigod, surviving above 15 was lucky.
I sat down cross-legged, leaning my back against a tree and staring into the sky.
"Will?" I heard Nico's voice next to me.
"Hey," I said, looking up to see him standing there, slightly blushing.
"Mind if i sit?" He asked, nodding next to me.
"Yeah, sure," I said, shifting over.
"How've you been?" Nico asked as he sat down.
"I'm alright, you?" I replied, a small smile pulling at the edges of my lips when i saw he was still wearing my hoodie.
"Better now," he said.
And then he leaned his head on my shoulder.
At the moment, i forgot how to breathe, but in the best way possible.
( published these last two chapters together because the last one didn't save properly i don't have time to fix it and make it better so i just published it and they are both short chapters anyway)
