After an injury, Pedri González is left with frustration and pain, willing to sacrifice everything to play. When his then-girlfriend, Julia Soler, tried to talk him out of playing, he broke things off...

Julia had been counting down the days until her release from the hospital. So when Friday finally came, her heart leapt with joy. Only two more weeks until she could ditch the unattractive hospital gown. She longed to return to her apartment, to her familiar bed, and to the normalcy of her everyday life. She was eager to breathe fresh air, feel the warmth of the sun on her skin, and be able to move without the help of a wheelchair.
But as she logged into Instagram to pass the time, her excitement faded away. Her eyes landed on Ferran's personal story, and she clicked on it without a second thought. However, clicking on it turned out to be a mistake she would regret. A tear slides down her cheek as she watched the scene unfolding before her. The video showed a girl all over Pedri, and he looked completely wasted. What she saw was the last thing she expected. The image of Pedri with another girl all over him burned into her mind. She felt a sharp pang in her chest as if someone had stabbed her with a knife.

Julia didn't think that Pedri would get over her so soon after their breakup. She couldn't bear to watch the video any longer and quickly swiped away. Looking back at that post made her grimace. Pedri had always assured her that he would love and fight for her. "I will always fight for our love, Julia. I will love you till the day I die, Princesa. I promise." were his exact words. But now it was all a lie. How foolish she had been to think that they were going to last. What was she thinking? Their relationship had seemed too perfect to be true. He had obviously felt nothing during all the time they had spent with each other.
Julia let out a deep sigh, covered herself with a blanket, and cried. Pedri was the root cause of all her tears, pain, and suffering and the reason she could never trust again. She felt used and embarrassed. Through her blurry mess of tears, she picked up her guitar and started strumming, pouring out all her emotions through the strings. It had broken her heart.
It was then that Julia composed the song "How Could You?" (Devon Gabriella). The lyrics were filled with raw pain and hurt. Every word carried the weight of a mix of anger, sadness, and the overwhelming sense of loss that consumed her being. With a trembling hand, Julia clutched her phone tightly and pressed the record button. Her voice quivered with vulnerability, yet resonated with a newfound strength as she poured her heart out into the melody.
Julia wiped away the remnants of her tears and listened to the recording. She was impressed with herself; she had never written anything like that before. She decided to share a snippet of the song on Instagram. Without overthinking, she uploaded the footage, choosing to crop her tear-stained face out of the frame because she was plainly a mess. She didn't want to showcase her current state of disarray; she simply wanted the music and lyrics to speak for themselves. It wasn't about seeking sympathy or attention; it was about finding connection, someone to relate to it. Julia continued to play and sing. Her eyes were red and puffy, her voice hoarse from singing. She didn't care if anyone complained or asked her to stop.
As the last chords of the song faded away, Julia realised he wasn't worth it. She deserved someone who appreciated her for who she was, someone who would cherish the love she had to offer.
