When the day of the move arrived, Julia woke up early to finish cleaning her room. She looked around her room one last time, taking in every detail. It was hard to leave, but deep down, she knew if she took this opportunity, she would become what she always wanted. She loaded the last bits and pieces into the car. 'This is it,' she thought to herself.

"Call me every week! No, wait... everyday," her mom said while hugging her.

"I know, mamá. I'll miss you," Julia whispered into her mother's hair, feeling a lump in her throat. She knew she would miss the comforting smell of her mother's fragrance so she held on to inhale it for as long as possible.

"I'll miss you more. You ready, Mija?" The crack in Aurora's voice indicated to her daughter that she was crying - or was at least ready to start crying. Julia nearly cried as well.

"Yes, finally moving out of the country. You must be so excited, má - no more dealing with bratty children... well, except for one," she joked, looking at her brother.

"Oh, come here", her dad started tearing up, pulled her into a hug and wiped his tears away as they all got into the car and drove to the airport. Julia couldn't help but smile as a crowd of fans awaited her at the entrance. She waved and posed briefly for the paparazzi with her family before saying goodbye to them and walking away with a heavy heart.

"I'll be back," she said with her hand waving goodbye and turned around on the escalator. Her parents watched her walking away, proud of what their little girl had become.

Meanwhile, Pedri was at home relaxing watching news with Ferran and Ansu. He flipped through the channels aimlessly until he came across a paparazzi video of a girl at the airport that caught his attention. In big black bold writing it said "JULIA SOLER LEAVING THE COUNTRY AND MOVING TO NEW YORK"

Panic set in as Pedri knew he had to see her before it was too late. He had to convince her to stay. He rushed into the airport, his heart pounding with each step as he desperately searched for her. Just as he was about to give up hope, he saw her standing outside her gate, tears cascading down her face.

"Julia!" Pedri yelled across the airport. She turned to see him running towards her, and before she knew it, he had pulled her into a cleaning closet. Julia was confused and taken aback by Pedri's sudden appearance, but she couldn't deny the way her body reacted when he touched her.

Julia said, "Pedri, what are you doing here?"

"Lo siento. Please don't get on the flight," he said breathlessly, tugging on her wrist, moving a strand of hair away from her face. The slight contact of their skin made her body shiver, and his eyes were begging for her not to go.

"Don't do this to me. You were the one who left and fucked up. You were so angry with me. What are you trying to do? Why are you even here?" Her breathing became heavier as she struggled to control her feelings. Taking a deep breath, Pedri did the unthinkable and leaned closer to Julia, his eyes searching hers for any hint of forgiveness.

"Because I wanna do this," Pedri murmured before lifting Julia's chin slightly and putting his lips to hers. Julia was caught off guard but soon surrendered to the kiss, feeling the softness of his lips against hers.

Pedri pulled back, his forehead resting against hers as he whispered, "Please don't leave me."

But Julia pushed him away, her heart conflicted as she forced her way out of the closet. She couldn't deny the way his kiss had made her feel, but she knew deep down that it wasn't enough.

"Julia wait! Fuck. You're crazy if you think I don't love you."

She dashed through the bustling crowd at the airport, not even sparing a backward glance to see the expression on Pedri's face. At that moment, he crumpled, tears trickling down his face as he watched her figure gradually fade into the sea of people. Ferran rushed to his side, embracing him tightly as he tried to comfort him in his agony.

"I broke her. I was the reason she left." Pedri said, his voice choked with emotion.

Julia wiped her tears and tried to compose herself. She knew she had to move on from Pedri and start a new chapter in her life. She couldn't let her past hold her back. She closed her eyes, took a deep breath, and whispered to herself, "I can do this."

Just as the plane was about to take off, Julia's phone beeped with a new message. She picked up her phone, her heart racing as she saw the name on the screen - Pedri.

Her hands shook as she opened the message, her eyes widening as she read the words.

[ Pedri ] I love you, Julia. I always have. I will wait for you.

She couldn't help but think maybe (probably) he meant it this time.
