Julia and Pedri had been at odds ever since the incident, and she went to great lengths to avoid him. She had been avoiding him for a while now, skipping family gatherings and even Gavi's games to stay away from him. Gavi eventually confronted both of them, telling them to sort things out because he didn't want to be in the middle anymore. Feeling guilty about the situation, Julia decided to take some time for herself to clear her head. She headed to the park with her guitar, looking for a quiet place to reflect. As she sat by the lake, she started to strum her guitar and sing a new song she had written for her opening performance with Becky G and Bad Bunny: "Friend" (Gracie Abrams).
Pedri, Pablo, Ferran, and Ansu coincidentally found themselves in the same park as Julia and stumbled upon her. "What a surprise! Juli, what brings you here?" Ansu exclaimed, appearing out of nowhere and startling Julia. She nearly lost her balance and fell into the lake, but Pedri caught her arm just in time to prevent her from falling.
"Ansu, you little shit. I was about to fall face flat in the water." Julia jokingly hit him.
"I'm sorry." Ansu said, smirking.
"We are going swimming after our practice." Pablo informed her.
"Are you coming? Sira and Mikky are also joining." Ferran added. She looked past him and noticed Pedri standing nearby, so she declined the offer to join them.
"No, it's okay. I think I'll stay here. I have a performance later, anyway," she said, feeling a sense of panic rising in her chest. Pedri let out a loud sigh, and Pablo seemed to grow frustrated.
"What's wrong with you? You've been avoiding us and making excuses for weeks," her brother said.
"Not now, Pablo," Julia stated, shooting him a shut-up look for him to keep quiet. She knew he was concerned about her, but she didn't want to discuss her problems with him, especially not in front of Pedri and his teammates.
"You guys go ahead. I need to talk to her," he uttered, casually making his way to the water's edge.
"Jules, what's going on with you? I'm confused. Is it because of Pedri's new girlfriend?" he said, making her more annoyed.
"He called me a slut! He made me feel like I was worthless. That's why I don't want to be near him. Is that what you wanted to hear?" Julia replied, her tone aggressive as she grabbed her guitar and stormed off. Pablo's expression softened as he watched his sister walk away, feeling guilty for adding to her stress.
"Julia, hold on!" He called out, but she kept walking.
"Lo siento..." he shouted, making her stop abruptly with her back turned to him.
"I shouldn't have said those things to you. I was just upset that you were avoiding everyone because of Pedri, and I took it out on you. I'm really sorry."
Julia remained silent, not turning around to face him. He continued, "What do you want me to do? Kneel down and hold my ears? Look."
He kneeled in front of her, holding his ears and whispering, "Sorry."
Julia couldn't help but smile, even though she tried to hide it. She said, "Get up," gesturing for him to stand.
"Not until you forgive me," Gavi said, still kneeling.
She grabbed his hand and pulled him up, punching him in the shoulder.
"Ouch. Okay, I get it," He winced.
"You're an asshole." She laughed and hugged him tightly, tears falling down her cheeks.
"He is going to regret it, Jules. He doesn't deserve you." Gavi whispered into her ear.
