Avid class has always been my safe haven when it came to a class that i felt comfortable in. Recently they redid our seats leading to me sit in a group of all boys. Most of them kept to themselves except for one.
His name is David, he's a bit of jock but he has a good heart. He constantly talks to me and likes to try and make small talk to me. Originally he said that he was straight but after being near me for around 2 days he became questioning.
He has this kind and cheerful disposition, like a naive child that hasn't been traumatised yet. He's also a really touchy-feely kind of person. As he always greets someone with a touch. Like he's patted on of my friends or when he's put his hand on my shoulder to try and reassure me.
He transferred from one of the worst high schools to be in. He's told me horror stories of the racism and homophobia at the school. Like people have thrown things at people during a pride celebration. He even said someone did blackface during black history month and destroyed a stall with it on. These acts do make sense as the school literally looks like a prison.
Back on track, David isn't really my type but I think I'm his. My friends have told me that he's constantly watching me. I've noticed it too as we've met eyes a few times. I've noticed that when we're talking he'll keep eye contact with me for a bit then stare at my lips for a bit then come back to my eyes. It's like he's trying to do the triangle method. Maybe he wants a kiss?
I kind of think of him as a puppy that constantly fallows me as he constantly wants to be near me or wants my attention. There was this one time where we could sit wherever we wanted to and one of my friends said that he looked sad when there wasn't an open seat near me. So instead he sat across from me so that he can get a better view of me. I know that sounds narcissistic but he's constantly watching my every move. I constantly have friends telling me when he's looking at me.
Along with starring at me he'll ask my opinion of everything and always is asking me to go with him somewhere. Also he does track and field so that means we'll be seeing a lot of each other because of not only preseason practice but also regular practice. I don't think I ever have been treated by a guy like this, and I'm loving it.
Now let me get to some stories about him. Recently in APWH class we were separated into 3 groups and had to debate to get things. The three groups were the union (workers), factory owners, and the mediators. Each group had special jobs to do such as getting as many rights as we could (union), finding compromises (mediators), or don't loose money (factory owners).
I ended up in the same group as David and he was elected our leader. He got us a few rights but whenever a problem arose he consulted the other members of the union. Although he was constantly relying on the judgment of me and a girl who was doing the math for the money. Together we were a good group working to get many rights.
Sadly he was knocked off of his position and he made me take over for him. My job was simple, we didn't get the rights we wanted so we went on strike. Promptly after causing chaos and arson with children spreading the word that the factory owners were evil I was let go from my position. Ultimately the bell rung and school was over before any agreements were made.
This story happened maybe 2 days after I met him. I was discussing a few things with him till one thing lead to another and him asking me to touch his boob. He puts his arms together so he could pop his boobs out more and i touch one as per his request. They were firm but squishy.
It was almost like a second gay awakening as right after I did it i was completely flushed and a stuttering mess. I was in total gay panic for the rest of the day as I couldn't shake what had just happened.
Now let me finally address the tittle of this chapter. My type has always been skater boys, emos, and nerds but this athletic goofball is making me quake. I feel as if he likes me since he always has his eyes on me but why hasn't he said anything? Is he afraid? Or is he just still confused? That's why will we, won't we is the perfect fit.
