Life is currently uneventful as I have to watch over my nephew and niece while my parents and cousin are at work. Because of this I'm unable to go out with my friends till around 6:00 but even then I'm still stuck home.
The first week I saw my "uncle" a senior in high school named Brandon. He dresses like a skater with red brown hair and a skinny but built body. I currently have missed one movie with my friends because of babysitting. Hopefully it'll get better.
So things kinda went down hill on Monday. Me and my mom ended up in a yelling competition in front of guests which led to me being bitch slapped in front of them. This all started when my mom told me I needed to cut back on sugars and I told her both of us do. The women destroyed a damn cookie box while I was gonna have a donut for breakfast.
I ended up walking to my cousin's house on the verge of tears till my dad caught up to me. Now this man is very macho and guns. You wouldn't think he has a more sensitive and caring side but he does. After asking if I was okay he hugged me as I cried in his arms. After a bit he brought me back inside the house.
Me and my mom have very big tempers which doesn't make sense because she's virgo. Our argument caused both of us to hurt. We ended up sitting down on the bed and all of us had a talk about where to draw the line and our diet. We came to the conclusion that all three of us need to eat healthier even if it's christmas time. I need to actually listen to my parents. My dad then dropped me off at my cousin's place since I still need to watch her kids.
It's two day till Christmas and my parents think it's a good idea to drive to my Abuela's house then to my uncles ranch. It's bad idea not only because we'll spend almost 6 hours in a car together but because we were already at each other's throat. Another thing was the traffic and how it was even worse than usual because of christmas time.
A quick side tangent my uncle is a pretty cool guy he married a cowboy and lives on a ranch. They have always said that there's always a room ready for me if things go wrong at home. I hadn't told any other family members about my sexuality or anything but I think my uncle could tell.
As for the party itself at my uncles ranch it was fun. It was just my uncle, his husband, my mom, dad, and my dad's uncle, and his wife. We ate dinner then had cake for dessert. After that we played mafia then uno together. Me and my uncle were getting hella competitive to try and win in uno but his mom ended up winning 2 times in a row instead.
Christmas eve is basically christmas for latinos. We stay up all night just to unwrap our presents then wake up on actual christmas to open up our gift from santa. Since everyone in the family works on christmas day we decided to have a party on christmas eve instead. There's a strict dress code of pjs only and I had the perfect onesie for the occasion, a charizard one.
The party started everyone was invited. My niece and nephew were running around high on sugar while the adults got drunk off margaritas. At first I didn't get many gifts only candy then I got a lego chess board. Finally my parents got me something i've been wanting for awhile, an Ipad. The exact model and color I wanted, the only thing missing was a case.
Christmas itself was uneventful as me and my mom just watched christmas movies till my dad got home. Once he got home we ate ribs then watched the movies he wanted to watch. A few hours later our neighbour gave us tamales and some pozole. After this we just washed clothes and then the day was done. It didn't feel like christmas at all that day, it felt like a regular Saturday.
The rest of the break was nothing special. As in nothing crazy happened only me staying up till 2 am and waking up at 10. The rest of the vacation days were filled with the same thing of staying at home and playing videogames. I would also edit this wattpad or just watch tv.
