i woke up with benny's arms wrapped around my waist. we were out pretty late last night, but we made it back in the house safely & without waking up his mom.

i pecked his cheek, then slowly moved his arms and got up, careful not to wake him. i grabbed my toothbrush & went into his bathroom.

after i was done, i walked out and benny was sitting on his bed.

"morning babe" he smiled. "good morning" i smiled back and pecked his lips before grabbing my brush and putting my hair into two braids. he went into the bathroom while i finished.

after that, we went downstairs. his mom & julie were sitting at the table. his mom looked just like julie— but a little bit older.

"good morning guys. breakfast is on the table" she smiled. i sat next to julie while benny sat across from us. his mom was on the phone while benny and julie were arguing about something. i tuned them out.

"go ahead. just don't do anything stupid" she rolled her eyes. benny quietly scoffed. the rest of breakfast it was silent, apart from me and julie giggling at something stupid. i couldn't help but notice how benny has been moody since we went downstairs.

when we were done, i said bye to julie and his mom as we headed to the sandlot.

"what were you and julie talking about?" i asked him as we walked on the sidewalk.

"a party. i guess she's gonna throw one while my mom is away for work" he sighed.

"sounds fun!" i smiled. he stared at the ground.

"oh cmon, cheer up. your too cute when your sad" i said. he smiled and intertwined his fingers with mine.

the group started getting larger once we made it to the sandlot. today was partly cloudy, but it wasn't gonna rain. it was pretty cold though.

as we made it to the sandlot, the boys infront of me and benny froze. i couldn't see what was going on because i was in the back.

"what are you doing on our land?" ham yelled. we all walked into the sandlot. phillips and his team parked there bikes infront of us. ham and phillips were arguing about something, and whenever people argue i usually tune them out.

i glanced at benny, a stern look on his face. his eyebrows furrowed as he gripped my hand tighter.

"just go away, will you? there's no reason for you to be here" bertram argued.

"i wanna talk to her" phillips said while pointing at me. the boys glanced at benny, their eyes wide.

"no thank you" i said. benny's grip on my hand was getting tighter by the second.

"she's right here. tell her" he said abruptly.

"nah man, i meant in private" phillips scoffed.

benny looked at me, and he nodded. i hesitated at first, clearly not wanting to talk to him. but i ended up following him to the dugout.

"what do you want" i said, crossing my arms over my chest.

"jesus, i only wanted to ask you a question" he said. i scoffed and rolled my eyes.

"anyway, maybe you would like to go on a date sometime?" he said, a smirk on his face.

i scoffed. "your a fucking dumbass. you obviously know benny is my boyfriend, and even if he wasn't i would never go out with you anyway" i said before turning on my heels. i noticed all the boys looking at me with there mouths wide open. i must've said that loud or something.

"whatever bitch. your fucking ugly anyway" he said. before i could register what he had said, benny ran at him and punched him in the face.

"holy fucking shit!" ham yelled. i stood there shocked, watching benny throw punches after punches onto phillip's face. "get him benny!" squints yelled. all of the boys pulled benny off, and phillip's face looked like shit.

"say anything like that again i'll fucking kill you!" benny yelled. bertram and kenny tried to calm benny down while phillip's team helped him up and left without saying a word.

after benny had fully calmed down, i took him to my house to clean his knuckles. he must've broken phillip's nose.

"now you know why i never told you about him. just the thought of him makes me fucking disgusted" he said.

"i know. but i didn't know you could punch hard, you literally broke his nose" i laughed. he smiled.

once we made it to my house, we entered the bathroom and i signaled for his hand. i was careful not to hurt him.

his knuckles were split and had dried blood on them. they were also purple, so he most likely broke one of them.

"jesus benny. i don't think you'll be able to play baseball for a couple of days" i said.

"it was worth it. i've been waiting to do that forever" he smiled. i giggled and grabbed the rubbing alcohol.

"this is gonna hurt a bit" i said while pouring it onto his knuckles. he hissed as i cleaned the dried blood off. after that, i wrapped his knuckles in bandages.

"thanks ally" he said. he leaned in and pressed his lips onto mine. we were interrupted by sounds coming from isaac's room. it was a girl, and when i listened more i noticed it was sierra. i glanced at benny with wide eyes.

"oh my god, i'll never unhear that" i groaned. benny laughed while covering my ears.

we left the bathroom and quickly walked upstairs to my room. i still covered my ears while jumping onto my bed.

"i don't think i could ever look at isaac the same again" i said. i could still very much hear them, and i wanted to throw up.

benny turned on the tv to try and drown out the sound. he then sat next to me and bursted into laughter. i couldn't help but laugh with him.

"your so innocent it's funny" he said. i rolled my eyes playfully and pushed him.

we never ended up going back to the sandlot since benny couldn't play. he also decided to spend the night.

i leaned my head on his shoulder. we were sitting on the lovesac, watching tv.

"remember when you said you didn't want a girlfriend" i giggled.

"i was in denial i guess. i never really have had a crush before so it was new to me" he said. i smiled and pecked his lips.

"also, keep doing your hair in braids. you look adorable" he smiled.

"i definitely will. they're so comfortable" i said. he smiled at me and pressed his lips onto mine.
even though we were only together for a couple weeks, i knew he was the one.
