i stood at second base, wiping the beads of sweat off of my forehead with the back of my hand. later today we all planned to go the the fair.

smalls was batting, and everyday he was getting better and better. i was proud of him.
the crack of the bat sent the ball flying and smalls took off. he hit a homer.

"that was good!" i said, giving him a high-five.
"thanks" he smiled.

after awhile, we all rested at the dugout. benny sat next to me with his arm wrapped around me as always. yeah-yeah and squints were arguing about if sierra or wendy peffercorn were hotter.

"you guys know that they're both off limits right" i laughed. squints stared at me and yeah-yeah laughed in his face.

"wendy is taken?" he asked.

"yeah, some senior guy and her were making out at the party" benny said. squints looked heartbroken.

i reached over and placed my hand on his shoulder.
"think about it squints, next year you'll be in middle school, and you'll see more girls there" i told him. he nodded and smiled.

"i'll definitely get more girls than you" squints said, turning towards yeah-yeah.

"yeah right!"

i sighed and rested my head on benny's shoulder. i didn't know why, but i was so tired. i always got enough sleep, but it was probably the stress that was getting to me.

soon we all headed back home, the group shortening to only me, benny & smalls.

"i'll see you guys at 5!" smalls said while running to his house. i waved and said bye.

"i'm gonna go get ready. i'll see you later" i said, turning towards benny and quickly pecking his lips.

"text me when you're done " he smiled. i said bye and walked into my house, and to my surprise issac sat at the couch.

"what are you doing here alone?" i asked him. he was always with sierra nowadays.

"sierra is getting ready at her house and then i'm gonna go pick her up" he said. i nodded and sat down next to him.

"you know you never told me what happened at the party, right?" he said.

"it's in the past now. it's stupid anyway" i shrugged. he nodded and set his focus back on the tv.

i got up and went to my room. i looked through my closet for an outfit to wear. i decided on my bell bottom jeans with a white playmate tank top. over that i put on a dark green zip up and threw on my doc martens.

i decided to put my hair in two braids, then i curled my eyelashes and applied lipgloss. once i was done, it was 4:45.

i sprayed on perfume before heading downstairs. isaac had left, so i was all by myself until benny arrived. i scrolled on insta until someone knocked on the door. i got up and opened it, and benny was standing there, the rest of the boys behind him.

"let's go" i smiled. benny wrapped his arm around my shoulder and we all started walking.

once we got there, the sun was starting to set. the smell of popcorn and funnel cake filled the air. benny payed for my ticket, and we waited while the rest of the boys payed for theirs.

once we entered the fair, the boys all wanted to go on the spinning swings. benny hated spinning rides, so we decided to get food while we waited for them.

we both got corndogs and sat at a wood table. i couldn't stop smiling at him.

"what?" he asked, taking a bite from his corn dog. i giggled and shook my head.

"i see you put your hair in braids" he smiled.

"yeah, i realized they do look pretty good on me." i said. he nodded.

a few minutes later, isaac and sierra found us and sat with us. isaac seemed so happy, and so did sierra.

"hi ally" sierra smiled. i smiled back.

"hi sierra" i said. while we waited for the boys, benny kept on taking pictures of me.

"okay, i think that's good. you already took like a thousand" i said, rolling my eyes playfully. he smiled and kept taking photos.

"ooh, this is definitely my new lock screen" he said. i smiled and fidgeted with my fingers.

a couple minutes later, the boys came back. tommy said he felt nauseous, so he & timmy went to the bathrooms.

yeah-yeah sat in between me and sierra, and the rest of the boys sat next to benny and isaac.

"soo, what's up" yeah-yeah asked sierra. she smiled at him and ruffled his hair.

"just sitting here spending time with my lovely amazing boyfriend, and you of course" she smiled at him. yeah-yeah rolled his eyes and sierra giggled.

he turned towards squints and ham.

"i'll give you 10 bucks to fit 3 corndogs in your mouth!" squints told ham.

"okay, suit yourself" ham said, getting up and walking towards the corndog stand. a couple minutes later, he came back with 3 corndogs and a drink. we all watched him literally fit three corndogs in his mouth, then squints hesitantly give him the 10 dollars.

"you guys are crazy" i laughed. ham smiled at me.

"can we go on the ferris wheel?" i said, turning towards benny. he nodded and got up, and i followed behind him.

"wait i wanna go too!" bertram said.
"me too" kenny followed.

"cmon then" i giggled. they followed behind me and benny as we started walking.

"hey, where are you guys going?" squints asked.

"the ferris wheel" i smiled.

"ugh, they're probably gonna go make out like they always do" squints said, turning around. i giggled and intertwined my fingers with benny's.

bertram and kenny followed behind us, talking about some girl.

once we got to the ferris wheel, it was way bigger than i imagined. benny gave the guy our tickets and we entered the capsule.

we sat across from each other. once we got higher, there was a perfect view of the whole fair. i smiled and looked at the stars.

"once we turn 17, we're getting married" benny spoke softly. i giggled and grabbed his hands.

"the only person i wanna marry is you" i smiled at him. he leaned forward and pressed his lips onto mine.
