the curling iron wrapped around my hair, setting perfect curls in place. today was julie's party. benny, bertram, kenny, isaac, sierra & me we're going to be there. i also wanted to make more friends, preferably girls my age.

it was 3:47, and the party started at 4:30. i decided to get ready since i had nothing else to do. after i was done curling my hair, i sprayed hairspray to secure my curls and then i changed into my outfit.

it wasn't much, just a black knitted sweater and a jean skirt with my doc martens. i placed a black headband over my hair and put on my moms old necklace.

i was finishing my makeup when there was a knock on my door.

"come in!" i yelled. benny entered in a casual outfit. once his eyes set on me, they lit up.

"you look beautiful" he smiled. i pecked his lips and thanked him.

"bertram and kenny are gonna be here soon. what do you wanna do while we wait?" he asked.

"i dunno. i'm already ready" i replied. there was nothing to do in my house except bug issac and watch tv. i sighed and sat next to benny.

"i'm just warning you right now that it's an open invite and there's gonna be alcohol. i don't want anything bad to happen" he said.

"it's alright, i'll stick with you and the boys. i won't do anything dumb either" i smiled.

a few minutes later, kenny and bertram arrived. we sat in the living room and watched some random show while waiting for isaac and sierra to be done.

isaac hasn't said anything about sierra yet, but i knew there was definitely something going on.

"oh i forgot to say, anna is gonna be there. derrick told me" kenny said. benny stiffed up and bertram stared at the ground while rubbing his neck.

"who's that?" i asked.

"i'll tell you later, derrick is already there so let's go" bertram said. i followed them while holding benny's hand.

the sun was beginning to set & you could hear faint music coming from the house. not that many people were there yet, but it was starting to get crowded.

as we entered the house, music and sounds of laughing flooded my ears. there was already groups of people, and it was quiet hard to get through. i ended up staying with kenny while bertram & benny got us drinks.

i zoned out and watched people walk by. then i noticed someone from phillip's team was here, so that must've meant he was here too. the last person i wanted to see was him.

"hey ally" kenny said, cutting me from my thoughts. i turned my gaze towards him.

"wanna get high?" he asked while pulling out a blunt from his pocket.

"i dunno, i said i wouldn't do anything stupid" i said.

"it's not stupid, it's fun. let's go smoke it in the bathroom" he said. i followed him to the bathroom, squeezing in between people. it was probably really stupid, but it was my first party and i wanted to have fun. it's not like it was my first time anyway.
