~Ryder
Beep. Beep. Beep.
Ugh.
What is up with this stupid beeping? I can't sleep!
Wait.
My head shot up from my pillow and I saw my alarm clock.
8:30 already?
No! I'm going to be late.
My phone buzzed on my night stand. It was a text from Lana.
"Hey I'm really excited also really nervous. Are you on your way yet?"
Of course she was nervous.
"Yeah left ten minutes ago be there soon" I texted back.
"Dont be nervous lana banana".
It had been a while since I had seen Lana and my sister. After I graduated high school last year I decided to move out and get a job away from Greenville. Living alone was still new to me. I had only moved a couple of months ago.
I liked having an apartment to myself. Technically it wasn't all mine. I had a roommate but he never seemed to be here and if he was here he was in his room all day. He was a cool guy I guess. He just kept to himself. Truth is all I really knew about him was his name. He was kind of intimidating even though we went to high school together. Small world. I know.
I put on my jacket and grabbed my helmet.
Once I got outside the apartment complex, I started up my motorcycle and felt a smile spread across my face.
Get ready, Greenville. The great Ryder Harrison is making his return.
