~Nole~
Not just beautiful. She's radiant.
Her eyes were shining and her skin glowed.
"What is it?" She asked.
"I wanted to ask if you were seeing anyone?" I blurted.
No. That's not it.
"Huh?" She looked confused.
The Octagon. I'm supposed to ask about the Octagon.
I glanced back up at her.
"I don't understand." She said. She looked so cute when she was confused.
"Cute." I mumbled.
What? What am I saying?
And why isn't she affected?
She looked around.
I have to go. I have to get out of here.
"Are you-?" She mumbled.
"I'll be right back!" I yelled. I carried myself to the restrooms.
What the hell was that? I didn't want to leave?
~Misa~
Huh?
"Here are your fries miss." The lady from the counter brought over the plate.
Should I wait for him to come back?
The golden potato sticks taunted me with their scent.
He won't even know.
I snuck a fry.
"Hey, Misa? You got fries?" Xander asked as he walked into the eating area.
"Nole got them actually. He wanted to share, but he just went to the bathroom. Seemed like he really had to go." I shrugged as I grabbed another fry.
"How nice of him." Kade said. He sat down in Nole's spot and grabbed a couple fries.
"Yeah. That was nice of him." Xander said. He looked around. "You said he went to the bathroom?"
I nodded.
"He was saying some weird stuff before he left." I said, concerned.
"What do you mean? Like what?" Xander asked.
I shrugged.
"Just-weird." I said. "He looked nervous too."
"Do you want to go check on him?" Xander asked Kade.
"In the bathroom?" Kade looked disgusted.
"Well, he is your friend." Xander said.
"He probably just got the runs or something." Kade said.
"Jeez. I'm eating." I said as I grabbed a handful of fries.
Xander shrugged and joined us.
~Lana~
Ace and I ended up beating the two of them just barely. They seemed pretty bitter about it.
"You guys are pretty good." April complimented through gritted teeth.
It seemed to slip everyone's mind because after waking up in the hospital I had yet to hear how exceptional I was at bowling. I hardly went a round with a pin left standing up.
"Yeah. Who knew? Right, babe?" Ace said with a surprised look.
"This is my first time." I said with a laugh.
