~Lana~
"Are we just going to stand here all night?" Xander asked.
"Seems like it." Ryder sighed as he leaned against the wall next to Ryland.
I looked out at the dance floor. They were all people I didn't recognize.
"I don't like to dance." I said.
"You were so excited earlier. No need to be shy." Xander said. "You guys should have seen her on the way here."
"You're one to talk. This guy was singing every song on the radio. I thought it was karaoke night. His voice isn't bad either. Let's hear it." I said nudging Xander in the arm.
"Yeah. Let's hear it." Ryder agreed.
"I feel like I'm a little on the spot here. How about a duet?" Xander nudged me back.
"Why don't you guys make it even more interesting and jump on the stage?" Ace said walking up to us with the Misa puppy following behind him.
"Ooh. Are you guys doing a performance?" Misa asked earnestly.
"Oh hey guys!" Haylin said. "I love your dress." She said to Misa.
What the?
"I love how you're not afraid to dress like you're on Toddlers and Tiaras." I said.
Ace laughed.
"Thanks guys." She said bashfully as Ace rolled his eyes.
"How are you guys liking the dance so far?" Haylin asked.
"I want to ki-"
"It's so fun and we haven't even danced yet!" Misa interrupted Ace. "What about you guys?"
"We haven't really done much yet." Haylin said.
"Lana and I were just about to get on the dance floor." Xander said. "Right Lana?"
"Yeah. Apparently Xander can do the worm." I said.
"No way. I wanna see." Misa jumped up and down.
"I don't know if I can do it in these clothes." Xander said.
"Then take them off." I shrugged.
Misa looked at me in astonishment.
"Yeah do it." Ace said.
"Eager to get my clothes off. Are we?" Xander said. "At least buy me dinner first." He whispered loud enough for everyone to hear.
"Gross." Ace said.
"Or better yet, have a dance with me." Xander whispered just to me this time.
"My amnesia's kicking in and all of a sudden I've forgotten how to dance." I whispered back innocently.
The others were having their own conversations now.
Xander looked around.
"You know who loves to dance." He said. "Catya."
"Good for her." I said.
"She's looking pretty lonely over there. Would be a shame if someone were to dance with me and make her feel even more lonely." Xander raised an eyebrow.
"Bringing Catherine into this. Real low." I said.
"What? Who? Catrina? She's nothing compared to you." Xander said.
"Candy wouldn't be too happy to hear that." I said.
"Carmen's happiness isn't exactly my top priority." Xander said.
