~Ryder~

I'm going to be late.

Ryland is going to kill me.

In the corner of my eye I saw a car swerve toward me. I swerved to my left a bit, and then the car straightened itself.

If I don't crash first.

I knew Lana and Ryland would be pissed at me if I was even 15 minutes late.

I sped up.

The car to my right swerved a little again. This time I remained in my place. They straightened out.

What the hell am I doing? If I die now, how will Ryland kill me for being late.

I wanted to check my phone to see if Lana or Ry had texted me yet. But I knew that would really be too dangerous.

The car on my right swerved again.

Is this guy drunk?

I needed to pass him. I sped up. He did too.

Seriously?

I sped up a little more. So did he.

That's it.

I sped up again.

This time he slowed down.

Finally. Ha. I win jackass.

I was about to pass him when he sped up again. This time he didn't back down. He swerved toward me to the point where he was almost in my lane. I swerved left.

This guy is insane.

He was actually challenging me, but I didn't want to back down.

I sped up and swerved toward him, accepting his challenge.

We were side by side. I could no longer see the cars behind us and the road ahead was a blur.

~Kade~

I was parked by Dice's house. He was still in high school so he lived with his parents. He ran out of the house and jumped in my car.

"So where are we going?" I asked as he slammed my car door shut.

"We're going to school." Dice responded.

At the mention of school, I just about shit my pants.

"Dude, did you just fart?" He asked.

"Dice, this is no time for jokes." I said as I rolled down the window.

"No. I'm serious. We're going to the old high school." He said.

"What? Is that really where drug deals take place now?" The old Greenville high school was abandoned and extremely creepy. Greenville was a small town yet the idiots that built the school decided to make it uselessly gigantic. And then some other idiot decided he hated school and tried to burn it down. He was caught but most of the school had burned down. So the town built a new one. A smaller one.

"Yeah. We're going to the roof of building B." Dice said.

"Sounds fun." Building B was one of the remaining buildings. It was also famous. During the fire, a student had gotten stuck on the second floor of building B. When she finally smelled the smoke, she had no choice but to run up to the roof. She saw the fire and decided she didn't want to die slowly as her body burned to a crisp so she jumped. Regrettably, she didn't die quickly. To make things worse, they said she could have lived if she hadn't jumped because the firefighters got to building B before the flames could destroy it. Now the poor girl was the famous ghost that 'haunted' the old Greenville high school.
