"Sup LB." I heard Ryder's voice from behind me.
Ryland and Ryder were walking next to each other a little ways away from me. I stopped and waited for them to catch up.
"Long time no see." Ryder said with an elbow nudge to my arm.
"Yep." I said as we walked into the shop.
"This place isn't very busy today. Is it?" Ryder asked.
I looked around. There was a couple sitting at a window table, and that was it.
Recalling the other two times, I'd come to the shop, it never seemed to be very busy.
The quiet gave the place a more serene feel though, so I actually liked it.
We walked up the stairs toward the side of the shop into the upstairs apartment.
Haylin, Misa, Catya, and her sister were already there.
"Hey guys!" Haylin said when she noticed us.
"Sup." Ryder said as Ryland and I nodded.
"Did you guys bring food?" Haylin asked.
"Damn. I totally forgot. Why didn't you remind me?" Ryder looked at Ryland.
"What makes you think I remembered?" Ryland said.
Ryland, Ryder and I took our seats in the living room area. Everyone sat down in the same spots as last time, except Misa had her own bean bag this time. Haylin's grandpa must have added another one.
Not long after we had, Xander walked in with a food container.
"Where should I put this?" He asked.
"Oh I'll just take it." Haylin grabbed the container and walked into the kitchen area.
Xander took the same seat he had last week.
We were just missing two.
We waited and a few of us made awkward small talk. For the most part, we all still felt like strangers.
It was already 15 minutes past our set meet time, when Ace walked in.
"I brought food." He said raising a bag of chips in the air.
"Chips?" Haylin asked.
"Yeah. Where do I put them?" Ace asked.
"I'll take them." Haylin grabbed the chips. "It's opened."
"Oh. Yeah. I was feeling snacky on the way over." Ace shrugged.
Haylin looked a little annoyed, but took the bag into the kitchen.
"So we're not eating yet?" Ace asked.
"I wanted to wait for everyone." Haylin said.
"Who's not here?" Catya asked.
