Lana
"Morning, Lana Banana!" I heard Haylin call from behind me.
"Morning." I said groggily as I manouvered to face her. She was a ways behind me so I let her catch up before I continued walking-or hobbling the best I could.
Stupid crutches.
"Great. I just made myself hungry." She said with a frown.
"I hate this school." Catya joined in from my right with a stiff neck.
She was still annoyed that she had to wear the cast.
"Oh hey, Cat!" Haylin greeted her.
"Hey, Hay." She greeted Haylin before continuing. "I hate this stupid lunch rule." She groaned.
"They are just trying to protect us." Haylin shrugged.
"Well, why is it just now a rule. The accident was days ago." Catya argued.
"Maybe this is the best they could do. Most of us got into accidents going out to lunch or skipping school. They are just trying to keep us safe." Haylin reasoned.
"By keeping us locked up here the whole day! Lunch is supposed to be my go home early gift for working hard and being fucking amazing. Now I have to stay here until its over. That doesn't even make sense." Catya sat down at one of the tables and we followed her.
"Well, don't get mad at me. I'm not the one locking you up." Haylin shrugged as she sat down across from her.
"But you're defending the ones who are..." Catya mumbled, just barely audible enough for Haylin and I to here.
"You asked why? I was just trying to give possible answers." Haylin said with her eyebrows raised.
All of my memories of Catya and Haylin come from the past couple of days, but something tells me these two don't fight often. Or ever.
"Hey guys." Catya's sister walked over.
"Hey Evie. What's up?" Catya asked clearly still annoyed.
"Nothing. I was just wondering if I could sit." Evina said shy as always.
"Of course." Haylin said cheerfully, but you could also still hear a hint of annoyance.
"Um-"
Misa
It's been three days since I boyfriended Ace and he still hasn't given me his phone number!
"You don't have to sit with me everyday." The beautiful boy sitting across from me said. He grabbed a sandwich from his bag and bit into it.
I shrugged.
"Don't you have other friends?" He asked.
Not really.
I shrugged.
His green eyes sparkled.
"Oh right. I forgot you're a nerd." He said with a grin.
I narrowed my eyes at him.
"Woah. I've never seen that look before." He said.
"What look?" I asked.
"You almost looked mad. I've only ever see you with that creepy smile." He said.
I couldn't help it as the corners of my mouth began to curl up and before I knew it I had a huge grin spread across my face.
"There it is. That's the one." He said pointing at my face. "The creepy smile." He looked disgusted, but I could tell he was just teasing me.
