Chapter 8

She woke up at 6:00 a.m. after an hour's sleep.

Her school starts at 9 a.m.

She recollects her parents telling her they would be off for some important work today.

She lays on her bed for a few more minutes before getting up and going to the bathroom to get ready.

After getting fresh and wearing her uniform, she lets her hair down and applies a bit of lip gloss to her lips.

She walks down with her eyes stuck to her phone. Being too busy reading the message Lisa sent her, she failed to notice her stepbrothers sitting at the table, eating drowsily.

"Y/n?" She looks up.

"Oh my, Good morning, guys!" she bows

"Morning."

"I was about to go upstairs to wake you up, but I see you're all... ready?" Jin speaks, eyeing her uniform.

Y/N gulps, getting a flashback from yesterday of Yoongi warning her about the others disagreement with her skirt.

"What is going on with that skirt?" Namjoon questions, eyebrows raised

"Umm well, Oh shoot! Look at the time; I'm running late!" She dramatically exclaims:

"It's 7:14," Taehyung glares.

"And it takes an hour to walk to school."

"Walk?"

"You're not walking; we are going to drop you off. We travel the same route to go to our company anyway."

"Like all of you?" They nod; actually, Yoongi just silently continued to eat without being bothered. "Oh no, it's fine. I can go by my-" they glared. "I'll wait for you outside."

"Come back," Jimin's voice echoed. She stopped dead in her tracks.

"Yes?"

"How dare you try to go out without having breakfast, and WHY IN THE WORLD IS YOUR SKIRT SO SHORT?" This was Jungkook being totally pissed.

"And you, Yoongi Hyung, weren't you with her when she got this?" Hoseok questions Yoongi.

Y/n pov:
"Thank you so much, Yoongi Oppa," I whispered to him, who sat next to me in their limo.

As we all know, Yoongi is the most intimidating brother, and though he is a complete softie on the inside, even Jinie happened to fear him.

He stopped the others from blasting out on me. The guys still looked annoyed, though.

"We are here." I looked out and saw the big building in front of me. I smiled widely and quickly got off.

"Bye guys, see you later," I enthusiastically waved at those sitting in the limo that was parked behind the school building.

"Have a great day, Y/N; don't miss me too much." Jungkook pouted

I gave him a quick hug since he sat close to the door. He wrapped his arms around me too. I then pulled out and wished them a last bye before turning away and rushing in, 'We'll be here to pick you up!' I heard Jin yell.

A/n Pov:
"Why does he get a hug and not us?"

"Just agree that I'm her favourite brother." Yoongi smirked, well aware of what his next words to a showing-off Jungkook would be.

As per Lisa's instructions, Y/N found her way to the cafeteria.

Being one of those who happens to hate people, she took a seat further away from everyone. A seat right in the corner where she could perfectly see everything, but no one could see her.
