Chapter 36

"Hey Lisa~ Hey Y/n~" Their three friends greeted them as the two approached them, who were standing near their lockers.

"Hi~" The two greeted them back with the same amount of excitement.

They grab all their necessary staff and together walk to the canteen to have a small chat before their class starts in 27 minutes.

The four girls kept talking amongst each other about random things, such as online trends and new releases, while Y/N busied herself into completing her English language homework that was due in 2 weeks.

What could we say? She liked to make the most of her time; she hated it if she even missed out on a second of it.

15 minutes had gone by in no time.

Y/N finally looked up from her book and looked around the canteen. She was stuck on her last line in her homework, which was to write an annecdote on everyday life.

As she looked around, her eyes abruptly landed on a figure; she did not need more than a second to recognise who it was.

"Min-ho?" She whispered to herself and sat straight.

Lisa, who sat beside her, heard it.

"Min-ho? As in the Shakspere guy from yesterday? Gosh, I've been dying to see him. Where is he?" She looked in the direction where Y/N was looking. She furrowed her eyebrows, not exalted by his appearance.

Jisoo, Jennie, and Rose looked way too confused to understand what was going on.

"Whose Min-ho?" they asked, puzzled.

"Look behind you." And they did. Not long later, their eyes widened.

Feeling eyes on him, he looked towards that one table of five girls, where most of them were staring right at him with widened eyes. Their table wasn't the only one; almost all of the cafeteria was looking his way. He wasn't new to that; in fact, he was pretty much used to it.

He gave those girls a smile, about to walk away, but as soon as he moved his eyes, they landed on the prettiest pair he had ever seen.

Y/n.

She wore a frown when they made eye contact.

Before he knew it, he had already found himself walking towards her table.

"Hello girls," he greeted as he neared their table.

"HI~"  Jennie and Rose squealed, greeting him back.

"Hello." Jisoo politely greeted him back, not wanting to sound rude.

Lisa eyed him up and down, not taking any interest in greeting him back. She had already decided at first glance that she hated the guy.

Y/N just boredly kept staring at him.

"Aren't you going to say hi back?" He chuckled, asking her.

"No," she faintly replied, looking down at her book again.

"Okay rude. But please don't forget; you've got to show me around the school." Choosing to ignore him and not say a word, she stayed focused and continued to do her work.

Jennie nudged Y/N.

"What?" She kissed her teeth and asked, annoyed.

"The poor guy is waiting for your answer." She gave a tight smile to her friend, her eyes signalling her to reply.

Y/N moved her annoyed gaze towards him.

"Meet me here during lunch time," he smiled in return and nodded.
