She felt nauseous as she looked at his bleeding hand. It had a wide cut.

Blood was one of her biggest fears.

She had hemophobia.

Only she knew how she dealt with it.

She glanced at the blood, and she felt dizzy.

Her breath hitched, and she clumped tight on the hand that she had held, her breathing getting heavier.

Taehyung frowned.

"Y/n..." He placed his free hand over her clenched grip.

She firmly pulls herself out of his cold grip. She first calms herself down, then takes a look at his hand. She then shuts her eyes and, as per her judgement, cleans the blood off with a cotton ball without looking at it. Once she felt the blood was no longer on his skin, she opened her eyes and sighed in relief.

The whole time, she felt Taehyung's gaze on her. But she was not going to look at him.

"This might sting a bit," she warned before starting to apply the ointment over his fresh wound.

He hissed as the cold liquid came into contact with his flesh. She gave him a few blows to the palm so he could feel at ease.

She wraps a bandage over it, then packs and stands.

"Thank you," he mumbles, but gets ignored. "Y/n," he called out.

He pulled her with great force back down and steadfastly wrapped his arms around her shoulders.

She was caught off-guard. He had hugged her. She sat still, not hugging him back. Soon she felt her shoulder area get wet. He was crying.

She brought her hands up in the air, almost hugging him, until he pulled out and looked into her confused eyes with his red and swollen ones.

"Hit me, kill me, do anything you want, but just don't make me suffer with your silence." He grabbed her hands.

"I know it was my fault for bursting out on you, but trust me, I did not mean to at all; I was just frustrated. I did not mean a single thing when I said, Y/n!" He cried. "I am so sorry. Please forgive me." Y/n gulped. She did not want to get hurt again, and she was unsure about the act he pulled up. She was unsure. For the first time.

"I know you don't want to trust what I am saying." She looked down, finding it extremely hard to look into his eyes, which held genuine pain.

"Let me tell you something." He paused and sat straight before continuing. "Ever since I became a famous idol, I never had privacy anymore. Sasaengs, paparazzi, media... all of that everywhere we go." She was listening attentively.

"It's as if the word privacy does not even exist. Especially for people like us!"

He's right.

Some people really don't understand what is meant by privacy.

So what if they are famous idols? Aren't they humans too? Shouldn't we respect their personal lives?

Now that we think about it, if it were a normal and average person walking openly in the streets, no one would care, so why them?

Is it only because it'll get you views and money?

And how about them? Don't they deserve some personal space? Freedom?

They've got stuff they want to do in private, too.

When will people learn that the purpose of freedom is to create it for others?

Everyone deserves privacy and freedom. Everyone. Even if it's your son, daughter, mom, dad, sister, brother, best friend, whatever. Every person has things they are not comfortable sharing.

The quicker you learn that, the better.

"You're not the problem, Y/N, not at all. It's me. I just can't trust anyone new so easily. I fear the new appearance is one of those in disguise." He covered his face with his hands.

"How do I know you're not just apologising because you want your brothers to talk to you?" She finally looked up at him.

"I'm not; I genuinely am sorry for all my past actions. Please give me another chance, Y/N, to prove that I can be a good older brother," he said, taking her hands in his.

"I don't-"

"I know you don't believe in second chances, but please..."

"But-"

"Please"

"At least listen!" she exclaimed. "I was going to say, Yes, I do not believe in second chances." He looked down. "But you've never actually had a chance; to be honest, I just never gave you one, so technically it's you first." She shrugged, and he looked back up and gave her a tight hug. This time, she hugged him back.

He smiled at her. She smiled back at him.

"Oh, yh, you're not mad at the others anymore, are you?"

"I was actually never mad; I just wanted to distance myself from you because I did not want to pressure anyone to love me." She gave a sad smile.

"I'm so sorry; it's all my fault."

"Ok, now please don't keep apologising; that's all in the past, and it's not all your fault; I'm at fault too for not understanding your frustration." He gave a slight smile. "Anyway, wanna prank the others?" He nodded, confused.

"Let's eat something first, Taehyung-shi," she said, running into the kitchen.

"Call me Oppa," he said as he ran after her, rolling his eyes.

"And this is how you cut an apple." She placed the plate with chopped apples in front of him.

"Thank you!" They both chuckled.
