Winds howled. Voices shrieked.

Tragedy screamed in the sky.

Muffled sniffs. Grieving sobs. Thundering bawls.

It thickly poured, as if the heavens wept along with it.

The raindrops thumped against the ground.

People crowded around in an immense circle, and right in the centre was placed a white coffin with the pale body of a little girl laid inside of it.

Every person present in the room was mourning the death of that little girl who owned hearts.

Kim Y/n.

Together, six men, wearing black suits, stood very close around the coffin, screaming at the top of their lungs in agony and weeping their eyes out.

"Y/n!" They screeched. "Wake up already. Stop with your pranks." They shook her lifeless body. Their hearts deceive their minds.

No one could do anything for her grief-stricken brothers but give them looks of mercy and pity.

Their screams echoed in the giant hall.

The last thing they remembered was her smiling at the bright sunshine flashing all over her, and now the next thing they knew was seeing her laid dead in that box.

Somewhere far across the room, he stood in the corner, standing aghast. Her seventh brother

Warm tears streamed down his cheeks as he witnessed everything going on around him. His chest tightened.

He took slow and tripping steps with his weakness towards them, but the more steps he took forward, everything in front of him just kept going further and further away.

Everything in his eyes slowly started fading away. He paced up and started running in order to reach his dead sister.

Abruptly, it all went dark for him, and he found himself all alone in the place. His cries got even louder and more painful. He felt lonely and defenceless.

Lonely. Defenceless.

"NO Y/N!" He jolted up in terror, holding his hands against his chest, where his heart pounded rapidly.

Sweat dripped down his face. He haltingly looked up at the mirror hanging in front of his bed in his room.

His hair was all messed up. He hadn't realised he was crying until he touched his cheeks.

The room was darkened, but the moonlight shone through his windows. He pulled the sheets away and got out of bed, rushing out of his room.

He hurried inside her room and looked around, trying to find her. She had her lamp lights on.

Not seeing her on her bed where she was supposed to be, considering the time being around 3 in the morning and her still having a fever, completely freaked him out.

His heart raced like a marathon.

Was his worst nightmare turning into reality?

As he was about to turn around to go look for her, he heard a little laugh come from the balcony of her room.

He let out a sigh of relief, recognising it was her voice. He again walked inside the room and shut the door, taking steps towards the balcony.

Seeing her sit down on the floor, looking through her telescope at the blazing stars, wrapped in a huge warm quilt, brought him more relief but a slight annoyance as well.

Relief because she was fine and annoyance because she was sitting outside even after having a high fever. It was windy as well.

"Can't sleep?" She questions him, not moving her eyes away from the telescope.

"No," he faintly replies, taking a seat beside her.

She pulls away and frowns at him.

"Oppa, are you feeling okay?"

He looks away from her.

"Don't worry about me, cupcake, but why are you up at this time, and worse, why are you out here in the cold? You're still sick." He said it in such a firm tone.

"Well, I wasn't really sleepy, and I was really excited to use Jackson Oppa's gift, so I couldn't help myself but to sit here and analyse those stars." She laughed at herself, then went back to looking at the stars again.

"Jackson?" she hums, and Jungkook scoffs. "Why didn't you tell me you wanted one? I would have brought you it!" He rolled his eyes in annoyance. He could never like the way Jackson was close to his little sister. He had always wanted to be her favourite and best brother.

She sighed before looking at him again.

"Oh, sweet brother of mine, you're acting like Mrs. Choi right now. I'm going to say the same thing I once said to her: jealousy is a disease. Get well soon." She laughed again.

"Yahh, I'm not jealous; I just don't want him to steal my part of love from you, and don't you dare compare me to that lady!" he argued.

"Whatever helps you sleep tonight," she teased before reaching out half of her blanket over him so he's not cold.

"Wait, no, it's fine; you should use-"

"Shush! Sharing is caring."

He smiled, then scooted closer to her, securely wrapping his hand around her shoulder and leaning against the wall, like her, looking up at the dark sky.

She did not mind and continued looking through her brand new telescope.

He stayed like that, feeling calm. Enjoying the moment.

Who wouldn't enjoy such beauty?

a chilled breeze hitting your exposed skin, darkness around with the only sources of light being the moon and stars, and most importantly, being beside your loved one, the one who you know can give you comfort with just their presence.

"So, when do you plan on telling me?" Y/n voiced.

"Telling you what?"

"The actual reason you're here," he stiffed

"I did tell you I was here just because I wasn't sleepy and thought of checking on you." She raised an eyebrow at him. "Ok, fine, I was here to ask if I could sleep here."

"Try again, Kook." Her voice turned tough.

"I had a nightmare," he confessed, looking down.

"Of me dying?"

"You're too observant and smart, aren't you?" he chuckled

"I can't help it!" she shrugged. "But..." she put all of her focus on him and gave him a genuine smile. "I can help you for sure. I've noticed that something has been bugging you for a while now. I'm always here if you ever want someone to talk to. So you want to talk it out?"

That was the last straw. Her sweet and concerned words brought literal tears to his eyes. He cried, embracing her.

"Why didn't I meet you earlier, Y/N?" My life would have been so easy!" His tears made it to her shoulders.

She gently wrapped her hands around him, soothing his back.

"Everything has its own time," she explained.

That's right Everything has its own time.

Some people do claim to be unlucky and to have a terrible life, but what they don't realise is that without pain and sacrifice, we would have nothing.

Sometimes you win, sometimes you lose, and sometimes you are unlucky, but that's just how life is.

You never know what worse luck your bad luck has saved you from.

And you are a lucky or unlucky person depending on what you decide as well as how you behave and act in life.

Jungkook had left home to be an idol at the age of 13. For sure, he felt defeated and weak, considering his age. He has always worked hard, and that is why he is who he is today.

Many people choose to see what is shown to them in the present, but the past is what holds it all. Pain, sorrow, and many more things

And a dream does not become reality through magic; it takes sweat, determination, and hard work.

The brothers had to go through all that as well. But even though hate does not stop, it will never be expected to stop either way.

The reason is judgement and opinions.

Now it's a person's free will to have an opinion; we can't do anything about that. But we can try to be better people and not spread unnecessary hate towards a person we do not personally know.

"You know, Y/N, I've always wanted a sibling younger than me so I could protect them like how my brothers protected and still protect me. The reason I instantly connected with you was because you are blessed with an amazing soul and heart. You complete me in a way no one else does. I really wish we met a little earlier." His voice broke.

"No, oppa, that's not it. Timing is everything. If it's meant to happen, it will, at the right time and for the right reason."

He sobbed hard.

"If I had met you guys earlier at a younger age, I'm sure you would spoil me, and I wouldn't be this mature and understanding to talk to," he laughed through his tears.

The girl did have the right way to comfort people.

"That's true. Well, I guess timing is actually everything after all. Thanks for being there for me, Y/N!" He hugged her really tight, thanking the universe for sending an angel into his life.

"Well, you want to see something?" He nods, wiping his tears.

She makes him move closer and look inside the telescope.

"Wah, that's so pretty."

They spent another hour looking up at the beautiful dark sky, and Y/N explained to him things he had never heard of before.

"Yah! Turn that flash off; you'll wake them up." Namjoon whispered to Hoseok.

"Ok, this isn't fair; why does he get to sleep with her and not me?" Jimin and Taehyung whined.

"Shut up." Jin yelled when Y/N and Jungkook started waking up due to their loud whispers.

They looked around and found themselves wrapped in the blanket sitting on the floor.

"Y/N, why are you out here? You should be resting. And you, Jungkook, why are you annoying her?" Yoongi sent Jungkook a glare.

"Y/N, that's not fair!" Taehyung and Jimin whined again.

"Look, I got a picture of you guys sleeping like cute little siblings." Hoseok showed them his phone, which he had just captured a picture on.

"Jungkook. Can you get up already? You're probably making Y/N uncomfortable." Yoongi groaned.

Jin and Namjoon sighed.

The clueless Y/N and Jungkook, who just woke from a deep slumber, just blankly stared at them.
