Tom Marvolo Riddle POV

The door of the dorm opens just in time that I was fully dressed. Yn enters. When she sees me she looks confused. I try to leave but she talks.

"Where are you going?" it was kind of a strange question but it made me stop before I opened the door. I turn around and look at her. She is looking at me.

"At Berkshire and my brother. You don't want to see me so why would I stay?".

"Yeah" she says in a really low voice. I turn to leave again but she talks. "Tom?" I stop but don't turn around.

"What?".

"I was just angry" I automatically understood what she meant with that. "I was just angry and wanted to take it off".

"It doesn't matter" I try to open the door but she talks again.

"I love you" I stopped at my track. I didn't make any moves. "I-I love you" she says now more sure for what she said. I turn around and look at her. Her eyes are kind of red but she's not crying. "I was just angry with the ... Cigarettes ... And ... " she can't finish her sentence. "Tom, I love you and I don't want to lose you. Not like that. Yes. We were in an arranged marriage because of your father but that doesn't mean that I didn't care for you or that I didn't love you".

"Y-You ... " I take a breath so I can relax. "You love me?" she nods at me.

We stay in silence for a few minutes. After, I don't know why and I don't know how but I go near her and kiss her. She didn't pull away. She meant it. It was a hungry kiss but a kiss full of love and affection. Care. We pull slowly away and look at each other. I softly chuckle and she smiles.

"Sorry about everything, love" I say.

"You weren't responsible".

"I'm sorry. I didn't want to hurt you".

"You didn't, Tom. You didn't hurt me. I'm okay. I'll be okay".

"I love you too" she smiles widely at me and I smile back at her. That smile. I love that smile of hers. "I'm sorry again".

"It's okay, Tommy" I chuckle at it.
