*time skip*
Wednesday was immersed in her music, playing a mournful song as she delicately moved her bow across the strings. She let the music feed her soul, allowing it to be freed from the burdens that had been set on her. Her body slightly swayed to the sound of the notes, her hair hanging down around her face. Once she finished, she sat up, setting her bow down before stretching upwards.
"That was amazing. The melody was depressing but in a musically acceptable way."
She laughed at his description, getting up to go sit beside him on her bed. He wrapped his arm around her shoulder, pulling her in as she offered a small smirk. He leaned over and kissed the top of her head, smiling down at her as she looked up.
"Are you ready for next year?"
Wednesday nodded, briefly recalling all that this year had taught her, and all that she had experienced. She decided then it was indeed a very chaotic year, and she feared it would continue into the new year. Because with the Addams, there was hardly ever any rest. She rested her head on him and slowly thought about how this new year would bring so much to her. She wasn't sure exactly what that consisted of yet, but hopefully, she found a little period of peace.
"Are you ready?"
She watched as he thought about it, and he quickly smiled.
"I think I am, now that I have a stable friend group."
Wednesday lightly chuckled, before she set her eyes on the painting he had given her for Christmas. She decided to hang it on the wall above her typewriter, where she could look up and be inspired, or just have that reminder.
She slowly got up, walked over to her desk, and grabbed her journal. He watched her, as she opened the journal and began to read about the vision she had a few weeks prior, deciding if she wanted his help he would have to know about them.
Once she finished reading them, or what she had written down about them, she walked back over to him. His eyes scanned her, and he gave her a sad smile.
"Why didn't you tell me sooner?"
His voice sounded slightly hurt, and it killed Wednesday to hear it. She sat down beside him, grabbing his hands.
"I wanted to come up with my own theory on what, or who it might be, but I could never figure it out."
He looked over at her, trying to think about what all of it could possibly mean. He was familiar with the concept of ravens, and he had painted them for a long time. But he couldn't possibly know what they represented in the visions. She also tried once again to come up with an idea of what might have been the reason for the vision, but her more recent ones seemed to be very vague, giving random bits of information that proved unuseful if they had no subjects or context. She couldn't find a way to connect, although one thing she noticed was that they all seemed to have someone there she knew, but couldn't recognize immediately. She begged her brain to make a decision, but once again came out with nothing.
"I would say two brains are better than one, but I can't seem to figure this one out."
He shook his head, before looking down, meeting her gaze. She immediately dropped it down, which he found slightly odd but decided to let go in the meantime.
