Wednesday walked toward Principal Carter's office, planning to do some investigating on her relations to Sheriff Galpin. If she had something that could possibly give insight on him, or might even explain a few things, she was going to get it out of the principal.

She knocked on the door, ready to interrogate.

"Come in!" Came Carter's muffled voice, and Wednesday rushed in.

"Wednesday, nice to see you again. Have a seat."

Wednesday sat reluctantly. She wanted to stand, but she also wanted to guarantee she got information out of Carter.

"What are your connections to Galpin?"

Carter's head snapped up from her computer, and she hesitated.

"I have known him for a long time."

Wednesday leaned forward, glaring at the principal.

"Would you mind elaborating on any strange behavior he may have exhibited during your time of knowing him?"

Carter eyed her suspiciously, debating whether she wanted to continue.

Wednesday knew she had taken the more aggressive approach to interrogating, but it seemed to work when Carter started talking again.

"He always seemed to have... a strong sense of justice. He felt that whenever he was wronged, he would act on it. He was a big believer in the concept of what comes around goes around, so whenever someone did something to him, he would dish back harsh punishments as a result. He was very spiteful during his teenage years, that's when I stopped being his friend. Then he went on to become the Sheriff of Jericho, and that was that."

Carter shifted uncomfortably under Wednesday's hard stare.

"I saw him light the shed on fire."

Carter paused, taking a deep breath before continuing.

"The fire has been ruled as an accidental incident. I'm afraid they've already closed the case."

Wednesday sat back, giving a small sigh before standing up and turning to leave.

"Wednesday."

Wednesday turned back around, crossing her arms.

"I believe you. He would be the one to pull something like this, and given the authority he has, he can worm his way out of it. I have a strong feeling he worked his way to that position so that when he performed his acts of vengeance, he would be able to have an easy exit. Be careful with your next moves, because he knows how to play the game."

Wednesday smirked at this.

"So do I."

She turned and walked out, leaving Carter sitting there with a hint of hope in her eyes.

She liked this Addams girl, in fact the girl was beginning to grow on her. She reminded her so much of someone, someone who was long gone from this world. The faint memory of the girl made Carter smile, before returning to her computer.

Wednesday headed to their new temporary hang out spot, his dorm. They rarely stayed in there though, usually walking for awhile.

She knocked on the door, and Xavier opened it. He smiled, and opened the door for her to come in. She waltzed in, ready to quote what the principal had revealed to her.

"Hey, what's up?"

He noticed her scrunched eyebrows, and went to sit down. He had forgotten about his journal that laid on his bed, and quickly stuffed it under his pillow. But luckily, Wednesday was too deep in her thoughts for her to notice the attempt to conceal the journal.
