They had forgotten all about going to visit the principal. After all, they were both worn out from their bout. Wednesday had bested him, but it had been a close score the entire match before she scored the winning hit.
"Well done, Addams. It seems I have been bested by the best."
She slid off her mask and smirked at him.
"It seems you have."
He laughed, sliding off his mask and grabbing his water. They both walked over to a bench and sat down, trying to cool themselves off.
"Hey, after we get cleaned up do you wanna hang out?"
She looked over at him, her bangs sticking to the side of her head. Both of them were quite sweaty, and their hair was clinging to their faces, accompanied by sweat droplets that rolled down their temples.
"What would we do?"
He hadn't quite figured that part out, but he wanted to do something different tonight.
"Maybe we could...watch a scary movie and binge-eat some popcorn?"
He ran the idea past her, not sure if she would be willing to do anything not related to the stalker at the moment.
She had a flashback to the time Tyler had promised her a 'scary movie' and it ended out being Legally Blonde. She utterly despised him for that, along with other things. But she knew with Xavier... it would somehow be different this time. She knew that with him, it would feel more intimate, more personal than what she and Tyler had.
"As long as it isn't Legally Blonde, I'm in."
He didn't get her reference, for obvious reasons, but he was definite it wasn't going to be that. He quirked his eyebrow at her, laughing when she continued her deadpan stare.
"I'll see that it isn't. Wanna meet at my dorm around 7:15?"
She nodded, slowly getting up and gathering her mask and water. She put her sword up and headed out, the butterflies returning to her stomach. They seemed to live there, and that disgusted her. Mellowing out was not appeasing to Wednesday, but maybe it wasn't an entirely bad thing. She didn't have to alter her entire personality for everyone, but she felt now she had close friends that she could start showing a little of her true colors. If there was any color to her. They were breaking down the walls she had been building for so many years, but she wasn't fighting it this time.
He quickly ran to his dorm, having to get a shower and then get his room cleaned. Ajax walked in shortly after him, seeing Xavier frantically folding his clothes and shoving them in drawers.
"Uh...whatcha doing there?" Ajax slowly closed the door, continuing to watch Xavier clean.
"I sorta invited Wednesday to come and watch a movie with me."
Ajax smiled, mischievous in his eyes.
"Oh?" he smirked at Xavier, who was back to putting clothes up.
"Do you expect me to be gone while this happens? I would love to watch a movie with the two of you, watching y'all to make sure nothing happens..."
Xavier glared at him, standing up and grabbing his clothes.
"Would you mind going to their dorm to spend time with Enid?"
Ajax laughed, nodding his head.
"Yeah, man. I heard the principal had lifted that 'no boys in dorm' rule, although they can't spend the night or anything. "
