the song is once again *just there*

"my heart is so full of you I can barely call it my own"

Wednesday slowly stirred, her eyes fluttering open as she focused on the sleeping boy in front of her.  She watched as his chest slowly rose and fell, and her eyes trailed down his delicate features. Her hand slowly reached up, brushing his hair out of his face as she ran her fingers through it gently. His eyes fluttered open, looking at her as a small smile appeared on his lips.

"Good morning, Wendy."

Her hand rested on his cheek a moment, staring into his eyes before he pulled her into him. She let him embrace her, and she took in his scent as she closed her eyes a moment.

"I love you, Xav," she whispered into his chest, and she felt his light chuckle rumble through his body. The new feeling made her stomach flutter, and a small blush crept onto her cheeks.

"I love you too, Wendy."

She pulled back and looked at him, and he kissed her on the forehead before sitting up. Selfishly, she half wished they could stay there a little longer, have a little more time together before they jumped back into the reality of the world.

Cringing, she sat up, stretching her arms up as he did the same. It wasn't a disgust that flowed through her, but rather the bothersome thought that she was becoming weak, becoming soft for a boy like her mother had. The thought was disrupted by a soft laugh, and she looked over at Xavier who was already out of the bed.

"You, my love, are a bedhead."

He was met with a glare in response, and she proceeded to lay back down into the covers. He walked to her side, standing over her as she looked up at him. Suddenly she felt his hands wrapping around her, lifting her out of the safety of the covers. He held her bridal style, looking at her as he smiled.

"Do you like being carried?"

A blank expression rested on her face before she rested her head against his shoulder.

"I don't hate it."

His grin grew, and he looked at her as his eyes took her in. Here was Wednesday Addams, in his clothes and his arms. Who knew?

He set her down on the floor, and she stood there a moment trying to process what to do next.

"I'll go make coffee, do you want to change or hang out for a little while?"

Nodding her head, she walked to her neatly folded clothes and headed to the bathroom. Waking up she figured was one of the hardest things to do, as you were in this helpless state for multiple hours and then suddenly had to be able to process your next move. Coffee seemed to help speed up the process, and she was silently grateful to Xavier for making it. She hadn't ever learned how, but she guessed since he was a barista, he would know how to run the damned machine. She was sure she could figure it out easily, with a little effort, but that would require her to make time in her schedule to do so. Which she wasn't willing to do.

Xavier walked into the kitchen and was greeted by his father and Celestia. Or maybe, since they were getting married, he should get used to the name mom... he shook it off, deciding to push it off until it was necessary. The two looked at him, smiling as they sipped on their hot drinks.

"Did you and Wednesday sleep well?" Vincent inquired, a teasing look arising in his eyes.

Xavier grabbed two mugs, shooting his father a look before smiling slightly.
