"I have passed by many eyes, but I only get lost in yours."

Wednesday got up early that morning, 4:32 to be exact. She carefully crawled out of her bed, walked towards the window and she grabbed her small, leather journal. The rough texture against the pads of her fingers, the worn pages, and the smeared ink seemed to be the least of her worries. As she sat looking out into the forest, she opened the journal, detailing her latest nightmare. It wasn't one that revealed anything in particular, but it still lingered in the back of her mind, blending into the darkness as it taunted her.

She wasn't threatened by it in the slightest, nor was she scared of it.

But she made sure to document every single one that made its way into her brain. Perhaps someday she could make a collection of them, compile this journal of nightmares and turn it into one big story, a treacherous path for the human mind to travel through, with just the right amount of fear and torture written into the finely printed words. It would serve the purpose of giving people nightmares, haunting their dreams, and making them restless, as if their skin was crawling, the shadows reaching out to let them feel the pain behind each word.

Her pin slowed to a stop, and she looked down at the scribbled writing, the fine black ink glimmering slightly in the moonlight before drying into the page. She let her fingers flip through the pages, allowing her eyes to skim through the endless pages consisting of the nightmares, the cries of her heart, and the boy that offered her security from these horrors she was so fond of.

She got lost in him, and it was the kind of lost that felt like she was found. It was the kind of love that she could feel through his fingertips, the way he gently held her, both in his heart and his arms. For the first time, she wasn't questioning the love she felt for him, as if her mind was playing some sort of trick on her, some awful dream that might fade away in the blink of an eye. It was enough to make her fear but enough to make her stay. Never would she run away from such a feeling, the one that had haunted her before had now become a part of her she couldn't live without.

Thing managed to find his way out there beside her, tapping a low greeting as she looked up from her journal, giving him a gentle nod and small hello as she looked back down at the journal, closing it as she let her thumb rub the cover.

She hoped today would not be overwhelming for her, but rather an enjoyable evening where she could enjoy the night, and enjoy her time with him.

Enid woke up around 8:30, much to her dismay, and they headed down to grab breakfast. The werewolf whined about waking up early on the weekend and griped until she began to eat, and Wednesday sighed with relief as her friend began to smile widely.

"You are going on a date with Xavierrrr! Are you excited?"

She watched the raven with wide eyes, and Wednesday gave a blank stare back as she sipped on her glass of water.

"I assume so, I woke up around 4 and couldn't go back to sleep, and my thoughts resorted back to the wedding."

"OMG, you are totally excited. Can I still style your hair? Also, when are y'all leaving? How far away is it?"

"We leave around 10:30, and it should take maybe 2 and a half hours to arrive. And yes, you can style your hair in a simple fashion, nothing extreme and crazy, like yours."

Enid patted her hair down, frowning as she gave the raven a playful shove, smirking slightly.

"I know exactly what to do. It will be simple, yet elegant and becoming on you," Enid declared as she took a big bite out of her toast.
