Kaneki Ken x Reader- The Relentless Battle

About a week had passed since that incident, and you still hadn't spoken since then. Hinami and Ayato ended up coming back to Kaneki's place with some more information.

**knock, knock, knock**

"Who would be here in the middle of the day" you thought to yourself.

You went to open the door but hesitated, "what if it's that scary guy again...I don't want to see him again, at least not without Kaneki here with me...maybe I won't answer, I'm sure whoever it is will go away after a few minutes..." you thought.

"Y/N! It's Hinami and Ayato, I realize you must be scared, we know niisan isn't home we just wanted to come in and wait for him. There is something very important and dear to me I want to talk to him about, Jack isn't here, I promise, I would not lie to you." Hinami said from the other side of the door.

You slowly opened up the door, as soon as you did, Ayato was completely mesmerized. Being home alone, the only thing you had on was an oversized sweater, and your hair was damp, you had clearly just showered. They both entered following you to the kitchen, Ayato could smell your soap, it didn't smell like the one the Kaneki usually used, it smelled girly and pretty. The pretty smell mixed with the scent of your blood plus your beauty made it very hard for Ayato to take his eyes off you.

Once you let them in, you did a little bow towards them and started heading for you room. Before you got to your door Hinami said, "Thank you Y/N".

You stopped and looked back, with a small smile on your face.

"Fucking hell, she's beautiful, did I really just say that abut a human? I wonder what her story is..." Ayato thought as he watched you walk away into your room.

Hinami looked over at him with a smirking face.

"What?" Ayato said annoyed.

"You totally like her"

"Pshh, fuck no, no way I'd think a human was pretty."

Hinami giggled.

"W-what?!"

"I never said you thought she was pretty, now I know you like her. Hahaha"

"W-whatever Hinami think what you want." Ayato said as he stood up and began to raid Kaneki's kitchen.

After about half an hour passed, Kaneki came home. The door swung open and Kaneki yelled out, "Y/N, it's me Kaneki I have something for..." he yelled out but paused as he turned.

"What the hell do you want" Kaneki said to Ayato.

"I'm only here because Hinami insisted on coming to talk to you. I told her you were a lost cause but..." Ayato stopped mid-sentence, you had opened your door hearing Kaneki.

You changed into a fitted sweater and some leggings, you had your hair done and looked amazing. Your scent was overpowering now, this insanely intoxicating mix of what Ayato could only describe as pretty mixed with blood.

"Y/N, you look lovely, did you have a good day?" Kaneki asked.

You shook your head yes and smiled at him, a genuine smile.

"Why is she still not speaking?" Ayato asked.

You had completely forgotten those people were there, you were just happy Kaneki was home and got lost in his presence. You looked over at Ayato again and your eyes met. You quickly looked away from him, your smile wiped away and you started to play with your hair.

Kaneki made his way over to you and once he got to you he patted your head gently.

"Not that it's any of your business, but she's been through a lot. The interaction she had with Jack triggered it, and she has not fully healed yet." He said stepping in front of you, he felt such a huge need to protect you.
