Labyrinth

You smiled as Kaneki said your name, then suddenly you heard doors opening again. You flew over to Kaneki sweeping him up and hiding in a familiar place that only you knew about.

"Now we have to focus on getting out of here, once we're in his lab, it becomes a Labyrinth. No one knows it but me since I've been here so long, I know all of his tricks." You said to him.

Kaneki was smooshed up close with you since your hiding spot was very tiny.

"Sorry, this hiding spot was for just myself, I've never had anyone else here with me."

Kaneki just kept staring at you without saying a word.

"Are you ok?" You asked him. "I know you had to fight a lot and got pretty beat up, would you be able to fight again?"

His mind was still too mesmerized by you to speak.

"Kaneki? Kaneki?"

You cupped his face, and gently caressed his cheek. "Kaneki..." you said establishing eye contact.

"S-sorry...I'm just...so happy you're alive and you're you. B-but you're uhh..g-ghoul now right?"

You shook your head yes.

"But you're still Y/N right?"

You shook your head yes.

"M-my Y/N?"

You shook your head yes.

Kaneki bought his hands to your face as he held onto you bringing it in close to his. You two were inches apart, your breaths became faster and shorter. You shifted your eyes up and saw tears rolling down Kaneki's cheek. "Y/N, I love you" he said softly as another tear fell from his eye.

You smiled hearing this, romantic love was still something new to you, but you knew what love meant and you knew in that moment you made the right decision of tying your humanity to Kaneki.

"I knew I made the right choice" You whispered to him. He pulled you back a little to look at you.

"Can we...can we still run away together?" You asked him.

Kaneki smiled, "Yes! I'd love that...also..." Kaneki said as he sifted through his pocket. He pulled out the necklace he had given you.

"This belongs to you, don't let anyone take it from you again, it's mine, one of the last things I have of my mother and I want you to wear it, only you. Do you understand that?" He asked.

You shook your head yes.

"Let me put it on you." He said, and you pulled your hair to the side and dipped in more towards his shoulder. He came up around you, fastening the necklace he stared at the back of your neck. He lowered his head and smelled the sweet scent of your skin.

"Do you need food?" You asked as he continued to hover above your neck.

"Mmm..."

"I'm hungry...but she's a ghoul now... I wonder if that will change..." he thought to himself but you interrupted his thought.

"I'm not sure if it will taste the same now that I'm a ghoul, but I'm sure you're hungry, you used a lot of energy and power. You can try and feed off me, if it taste gross don't force yourself you won't hurt my feelings." You said as you tilted your head more for him.

Kaneki let a deep breath out then let his mouth hover over your skin, he licked his lips, his mouth was salivating so much, he was so hungry, but also anticipating that your blood would taste different now.

After a few seconds, he opened his mouth and let his teeth sink into you. You whimpered at the sudden pain, but after that it didn't hurt and burn like it used too.
