Laura's Party

Days pass, Harry and Niall go home and Liam and Louis stay. Louis and I go on a few more dates.

Two days before Laura's party I ask Louis to go, thankfully he says yes.

A day before the party I go to the store and look at the magazines. I take a quick glance and see Raven and Liam kissing on the front of M magazine. I had to do a double check but it was really there. I buy it and then go straight over to Ravens house.

As I walk in Liam and Raven are kissing. Not making out or anything but just kissing. I clear my throat they stop and they say hi.

"I guess you two know that you’re on M." I say.

"What? No." Raven says surprised.

I hand her the magazine I didn't even read the article myself to see what it’s about it yet. They both read it while I'm just standing. It must not be anything bad because they don't seem to care at all.

I go home and read the article. It really isn't anything bad just saying Liam has found a new girl that hopefully she doesn't break his heart.

If anything he would break hers and if that happens I will beat him.

July 30 2016

It's the day of the party. I look at my phone. It's ten. I have a text message from Louis.

Louis: Can't wait till the party!

I text him back: 

Can't wait either! See you there! :)

I get up have a shower and get dressed. I'm not wearing anything to dressy to the party just normal everyday clothes. Well a bit nicer then everyday clothes, but nothing special.

I go to Laura's, I told her I would help set up. I don't get there till 11:30 from my shower, eating, and driving to her house. She and Chloe already started. I start helping, by the time we are finished its one. The party starts at five. I guess we started a bit early.

Once five comes people start coming straight away. I answer the door for everyone. Raven, Liam, and Louis don't get here till six. I hug Raven then Louis. I just wave at Liam and he waves back.

We go and stand by the snacks just because that's were we stop walking. Louis and Liam start talking then Raven gets me to go dance. I'll come back to Louis later.

I dance for a long time, Louis watches me when he’s not talking to Liam, all though I fail at dancing.

I finally go back to him. "I never got to tell you that you look beautiful." Louis says to me.

"Thanks." I say. Then a slow song comes on. Louis and I haven't had our first dance yet. I see Louis looking at me. "We don't have to dance if you don't want to."

He doesn’t answer, he just grabs my hand and guides me to where everyone's slow dancing. We face each other and start to slow dance. I lean my head on him. This moment should last forever. 

I look up and our eyes lock. We just stand and stare into each others eyes. We start to lean into each other, I close my eyes then I hear Chloe.

"Oh wow your Louis I just met Liam." Louis and I let go of each other and just stand side by side.

"Hi Chloe. Louis this is one of my best friends, Chloe." I say pointing at Chloe.

"Hello Chloe nice to meet you." Louis says.

Louis and I almost kissed. He likes me enough to almost kiss me. I wish I could have kissed him, it would have been my first kiss. Louis as my first kiss, that would be amazing. I've never liked anyone the way I like Louis although we've only met a month ago. I really like him.

Chloe waves her hand in front of my face to stop me from thinking she must have been talking to me. "Sorry was thinking." I say.

"It's okay. I'm going to go now see you later. Bye!" She waves bye. I wave back.

Louis and I walk back by the snacks. "What were you thinking of?" Louis asks me. "You were really zoned out back there."

I smile. "It was nothing I zone a lot at random times. Even ask my friends I do it all the time when they talk to me." I don't want him to know I was thinking about what almost happened.

I stand next to him and look down. I didn't even realize but Louis is holding my hand. I hold his back and see him smile.

I hear a knock on the door somehow. I let go of Louis hand and go see who it is. Laura gets there before me. It's a magazine company. I see there lips moving but don't hear what they say.

I stand next to Laura. "They want in the party to take pictures of Liam and Raven." They don't know about Louis and me yet. He and I have been carful not to get caught in a photo.

"I'll handle this." I tell Laura she shakes her head in agreement. I face the people at the door. "You’re not aloud in." I tell them.

"Why we just want some pictures of Liam and Raven." They tell me.

"They are at a party they don't want there picture taken. They are in the small town of Kingsville that no has really heard of. Maybe for a reason. They want to be left alone! So go away!" They try and talk but I close the door on them then lock it.

"You’re a nice friend looking out for Raven. You should go back to your date." Laura says to me.  

"I think he's talking to Liam right now." I tell her. I don't think she knows I brought Louis.

“I meet Liam. Ravens lucky she gets to date him.” She says.

“I guess.” I say.

“Well you have a boyfriend so you wouldn’t think she’s lucky.” She says. I start to walk to the back and go outside then sit on the stairs. Laura comes with me. "What's his name?" Laura asks me. "Your date?"

"Louis." I tell her.

"It's kind of funny how you had a big crush on Louis from one direction and now your going out with someone with the name." She says.

I look at her "It is Louis." I tell her into her eyes so she knows I'm not lying. "Want to go meet him?" I ask her.

I go back inside and find Louis. He is talking to Liam just as I thought. "Hey this is another one of my besties, Laura." I say.

"Hi Laura." He says.

"Hi!" She says. "If you two are here where are Harry, Niall, and Zayn?" She asks.

"At home." Liam says. Then Raven come from behind Liam.

"Hey!" She says. She locks hands with Liam and they go off somewhere.

I stay with Louis and we hold hands again and I lean on his side. I worked late last night so I didn't get much sleep. I take out my phone and see what time it is. It's already 10 it doesn't seem like we were here that long.

"Do you want to go home?" Louis asks me. He can obviously tell I'm tired.

"Yeah." We walk to the door and walk out. I'm still leaning on Louis as we walk. I get blinded from a flash, it’s from a camera of one of the people from the magazine. I forgot about the magazines, they must have waited here till Liam came out, but seeing Louis and I together they couldn't help.

Louis drives my car to his hotel. I get out going to the driver seat to drive home. I wait to say goodbye first.

"Sorry about the pictures." Louis says to me.

"It's okay. I only looked half dead." I say smiling. "I knew it would happen sooner or later."

"I’m sure you looked beautiful. I'll see you tomorrow?" He asks.

"Yes!" I answer. I wait for a minute and then he hugs me. I hug back. I was hoping for a kiss since we got interrupted from doing that earlier but I guess not.

"Drive home safe and text me when you get home" He tells me.

"Okay." I say then get in the car and start driving home.
