Christmas Gift

December 25 2016 - Christmas

I wake up from the sound of my ringtone. It's a text message from my Mom. Seconds later I receive a few more, one from both my brothers, their girlfriends, my dad, Alex, Mackenzie, and Morgan.

I view them all and they all say the same thing.

Merry Christmas!

I send the same thing back.

I look at the time it's already 10. I get up and go to the bathroom, have a shower, then get dressed.

I leave the bathroom and walk into the living room. Everyone else is already awake.

All at once everyone says merry Christmas to me.

I say the same back.

"We all most started opening presents without you." Raven says to me.

"She is not the patient at all!" Louis adds on.

"Oh I know! But you guys didn't have to wait for me, or you could have woken me up." I tell them.

They all shrug. "So who wants to be Santa and hang out the gifts?" I ask. No one says anything. "Liam, thanks for volunteering." I say.

He gets up and I take his place. We go through all the gifts, I mainly got iTunes cards and music based stuff.

I bring all my things to my room and put it in a bag to bring to my dorm whenever. I packed enough stuff to stay here for the whole winter break so I probably won't go back till the end.

I look through my stuff and notice Louis didn't get me anything. I look around, did I drop it or something? Then I hear a knock on the door. I look who it is and it's Louis.

"Looking for my gift?" He asks.

"Did I lose it already?" I ask him back.

"No it's right here." He says handing me an envelope.

I open it and it’s a card. I open it and two things fall out of the card. I pick them up to look at what they are. They are two tickets to Doncaster, South Yorkshire, UK.

"I want you to come with me this year to my mum's for Christmas to meet her." Louis tells me.

"I don't know what to say." I say back smiling.

"That's a yes then?" He asks. I nod my head and hug him, he hugs me back. I get to meet his mum!

"When do we leave?" I ask him.

"Tomorrow, then we will be back a couple days before you start school. Do you need to grab anything at your dorm at the collage before we leave?" He asks me.

"Nope, I was just going to stay here the whole break so I have all the things I need. I always wanted to go to the UK!" I tell him.

“Well I’m glad you get to come with me.” He says.

For supper Louis and I go to my dad's to eat. Both my brothers and their girlfriends are there, and even my dad's girlfriend too.

I tell them all not to text or call me since I will be gone. We stay at my dad's till 9 then head to Louis' house. I was so glad when we finally left.

I wake up on the couch by Louis poking me. I must have fallen asleep on the way home from dad's.
