The atmosphere was lively, their marching band was in full swing and everyone seemed to be having a good time.
"Whoo!" J.R. cheered. "You know it just need to be said Bringston Homecomings are fire."
"Period."
"It is only the first day and I can tell I'm already gonna like it more than last year," Keisha said.
"Uh, hold on, that's a lie because you met us last year." Simone motioned to her and Sevyn.
"So that's when the game was changed, honey." Sevyn finished for Simone.
"But she ain't know me, so that makes this year the best," Cam added. "Ain't that right?"
"Oh, my God, Sev, Simone, it's our friendiversary!" Keisha exclaimed.
"That means we have to toast, so that's y'all's cue," she looked at J.R. and Cam, "Drinks, please."
"Water for me JR," Sevyn told JR.
"I got you," JR said.
"Do I look like a waiter?" Cam asked.
"Yes!" Simone, Sevyn and Keisha said.
"Say, brother, take this order," JR said before heading with Cam to get the drinks.
"Oh, I wish Nate was here instead of her pre-law conference," Sevyn said while she rubbed her arms wishing she wore her long sleeve dress instead.
"Not to mention she missed our girl Sevyn's probate she is now a proud member of Alpha Delta Rho," Keisha said causing Simone to cheer while Sevyn did her pretty pose.
"You two are a big reason why we're even here," Simone added.
"Yo, a lot has changed," Keisha smiled.
"Most definitely Keisha, when I came here I didn't expect that I would find a home away from home, you guys are my family and I love y'all," Sevyn said with a smile.
"Seriously, I came being a walk-on, and I made the team," Simone said. "If I can impress Coach Loni at the pro tournament tomorrow, I'll have a shot at making top 6 and singles next semester."
"Girl, you gon' make top 6. I need you to, you too Sev uhh, claim that!"
"Right, right.
"Uhh, claim that-ah." They all said before laughing.
