"Daddy please don't cry," Sevyn couldn't help but laugh at her father Anthony Wade who was a six foot seven 265 pounds man who played in the NBA finals with a broken hand, and here he was crying as he walked with his daughter and wife towards Sevyn's dorm.
"I'm just so proud of you baby girl."
"Honey it's okay." Her mother Marie said while holding his hand as they made it to her dorm.
Sevyn quickly unlocked her door and rushed into her room granted the room was still bare but she was so excited to decorate it to her liking.
"Years later and they still haven't changed these walls," Marie said while stepping into the single dorm room and looking around.
"We got everything we need to make it fit just right for my baby girl," Anthony said as he started his drill causing both Sevyn and Marie to look at each other.
"That's your husband." Sevyn as she started working on filling her drawers and her mother worked on her closet.
"He trying to be a better actress than me," Marie said with a laugh as continued working on Sevyn's closet.
The family worked with music as they finished Sevyn's dorm room within an two and a half hours and also went to the market to get groceries.
^ Sevyn's dorm.
"Now this is what I'm talking about thank you, daddy," Sevyn said as she finished putting her food in her mini fridge.
"No problem babygirl." He said while sniffing.
"Oh lord, here he goes again," Marie said while she rolled her eyes just as Sevyn got a message from Simone.
"Simone is finally here, she's a little sad that her parents purposely didn't make it back in time to help her move in today."
"I never liked that mother of hers, we'll stop by before we head to the elevator," Marie said as she placed the picture frame on the desk and grabbed her purse.
"Should I bring my drill?" Anthony said causing his wife and daughter to laugh as he left out the room.
"Simone!!" Sevyn yelled as she opened the door to Simone's room next door, and quickly pulled her into a hug.
