Sighing again for the fourth time since she started her criminal justice midterm, I wasn't that she didn't know the material it was because her professor decided that an 8 am midterm was a good idea.
She was just happy that this was her last in-person midterm and her last one would be online. After finishing her midterm Sevyn grabbed her bag and headed to turn the midterm in.
"Miss. Wade I truly did enjoy your paper on police brutality and gun violence." He said as he handed her the graded paper with an A plus on it.
"You hit it right on the nail when you included your experience with both."
"Thank you, Dr. Nelson," Sevyn said with a slight smile before leaving out of the classroom and saw Simone standing there in the hallway zoned out.
"Girl you've been out of it," Sevyn said as she walked over to her causing Simone to snap out of it.
"Uh yeah, my bad," Simone said nervously.
"Okay, what's wrong?" Sevyn asked.
"Uh, Damon and I kinda had a moment."
"You two always have moments what's different unless..." Sevyn started as her eyes widen, "Nooo!"
"We kissed," Simone admitted causing Sevyn to jump up and down excitedly.
"I can't believe it, so how do you feel?" Sevyn asked after she had calmed down.
"I really don't know and Damon's been blowing me up to talk about it," Simone said as she showed Sevyn the thread between her and Damon.
"Damn but why won't you just talk to him?" Sevyn asked as she handed Simone back her phone.
"I don't know it just seems weird right now so I've been avoiding him."
"You know you're not supposed to be with the opposite sex right? I won't say anything that could jeopardize you getting dropped from P.K.Z." Sevyn told her.
"Thank you Sev I appreciate that."
"Of course now come on so we can meet up with Nate."
