Sevyn and everyone were waiting for Simone to ring the bell. They had changed their plans of just having brunch and decided to surprised Simone while she was ringing the bell to celebrate her last day of radiation.
"Surprise!" they all yelled, as Simone and her mother Tina turned the corner, she was shocked as they clapped for her.
"What are y'all doing here? I thought we were supposed to have brunch back at the loft." Simone questioned with a smile.
"Girl, try again. This is a major moment for you, Simone, there is no way we wouldn't be here." Sevyn said.
"Yeah, we all had to be here for your final day of radiation," Keisha added.
"And by all, we mean all. I got Dr. P. and Nathaniel on the phone." Can said while pointing to the phone in his hand.
"Aw."
"You stayed strong, you made it through. For that, we celebrate." Devin added.
"Y'all have really been there for me every step of the way, and I feel like the luckiest person in the world because I have the best family--blood and chosen-- so period. Actually, scratch that. I'm gonna say exclamation point!" Simone said happily.
"Oh, that's right."
"Boop!" Thea called out.
"It's time," Tina said pointing to the bell. Simone let out a sigh of relief before stepping toward the bell and standing in front of it.
"An ended fight, a lifted weight. I ring this bell to celebrate. It's time for treatment to conclude. I ring this bell in gratitude. There's life to live out there for me. I ring this bell with hope. I'm free!" Simone read out before ringing the bell, the smile never leaving their faces as they clapped.
"Yay!" Sevyn said before rushing over to Simone, "I love you," Sevyn said to her as she pulled away from the hug to let everyone get a hug.
"I love you too," Simone said before hugging Keisha.
"Oh."
"Bring it in, bring it in," Cam said making them chuckle.
"Oh, my God," Simone said with a laugh as they all hugged her.
"Proud of you," JR said to her as they backed up so that Devin could talk to her.
Sevyn watched with Lando as the two hugged.
"Now they know they like each other," Sevyn whispered to her boyfriend.
"Shoot probably love each other," Lando whispered back making her laugh.
